Found was not rescued after NBC canceled it: on July 16, 2025, TVLine reported that the search for another home had ended without a buyer. A later Netflix US listing concerned the two existing seasons, not a Season 3 order.
What was the two-month update on Found Season 3?
On May 9, 2025, TVLine reported that NBC had canceled Found after two seasons and that the drama would not return for Season 3 on the network. About two months later, on July 16, TVLine reporter Matt Webb Mitovich wrote: “Sources tell me that no new home was found for Found, and the cancelled NBC drama’s ‘shopping’ process has ended.” TVLine reported the cancellation and July update.

That update meant the effort to find another outlet for the canceled series had stopped without a buyer. It describes the status as of July 16, 2025; it does not establish what may have happened after that date.
Did Netflix revive Found?
No. On December 5, 2025, What’s on Netflix reported that Netflix US was scheduled to add Seasons 1 and 2—35 existing episodes in total—on January 2, 2026. The report explicitly characterized the move as licensing, not a revival or renewal. A streaming license for episodes already made does not mean a new season has been ordered. What’s on Netflix’s report covers the scheduled US licensing.

The cited reports do not verify whether a revival occurred after those dated updates, so they cannot support a claim about the show’s status beyond them.
Why did NBC cancel Found?
TVLine said Found averaged 3.9 million total viewers season to date when delayed playback was included, 13% below its first-season average. TVLine also ranked it ninth among the 11 dramas NBC had aired that season. These are figures and a ranking reported by TVLine in 2025, not separately verified network data.
