Until the producers explain how the film fits into the broader adaptation plan, fans should avoid treating it as either a cancellation of Season 3 or a guaranteed first part of Season 3.

A-1 Pictures remains the key studio associated with the immediate continuation. The studio animated the existing television adaptation and is explicitly confirmed to return for Beyond the System. Solo Leveling Season 1 premiered in Winter 2024. Season 2, officially titled Solo Leveling Season 2 -Arise from the Shadow-, premiered on January 4, 2025 in the relevant international territories covered by Crunchyroll’s release information.
The official anime site lists Season 2 through episode 25. That episode is the current television endpoint before the announced movie and eventual Season 3.
