This is an editorial ranking of the recurring show-opening songs and a clearly separated one-episode theme, based on impact, identity, memorability, fit, and recognition. It does not rank individual Superstar entrance music or every song played during an episode.
How this ranking works
The order reflects five criteria: how quickly a song grabs attention; how strongly it evokes Raw and its production era; its musical character and memorability; its fit with the show’s presentation; and its longevity and recognition among viewers. Those judgments inevitably involve taste and nostalgia, not an official WWE score or audience poll.

WWE’s published material confirms several notable themes and special-episode associations, but it does not provide a complete, officially dated chronology of every Raw opener. The list therefore avoids assigning unsupported start and end dates. One theme announced for Raw’s 1,000th episode is included separately rather than treated as a long-running opener.

“Across the Nation” — The Union Underground
“Across the Nation” takes the top spot for its forceful entrance and close association with an era of Raw. WWE’s corporate announcement for the 2002 album Forceable Entry identified it as the show’s new theme, and WWE later described it as Raw’s theme from 2002 to 2006. That gives this entry unusually strong documentation as well as a memorable, high-energy fit for the program. WWE Corporate’s 2002 announcement and WWE’s retrospective establish the connection and period.

“Burn It to the Ground” — Nickelback
Nickelback’s “Burn It to the Ground” brings a big, hard-rock sound that makes an immediate statement. WWE announced it as Raw’s official theme in a 2009-period release, but that announcement alone does not establish the song’s complete run dates. The same period-specific announcement reported more than 250,000 digital singles sold and more than 2.4 million U.S. album sales for Dark Horse; those are historical figures, not current totals. WWE’s announcement is the source for the theme designation and figures.

“The Night” — CFO$
“The Night” earns its place for its dramatic, modernized sound and its link to a major Raw milestone. WWE says CFO$ produced the song and that it debuted during the show’s 1,000th episode in 2012. That supports its importance in Raw’s theme history, but the available announcement does not establish its exact recurring-theme run. WWE’s account of CFO$’s work describes the debut.

WWE Royal Rumble - The Complete Anthology, Vol. 1- Vol. 1 It was a simple, yet revolutionary concept. Two men start in the ring, and every two minutes another Superstar is added to the match. Toss your opponents over the top rope to eliminate them until only one remains. It proved so popular that it was later moved to Pay Per View and the winner was awarded the WWE Championship. Now one of the WWE s biggest events, you can own the first 5 Royal Ru

“Dreams That I Have” — CFO$ featuring Will Roush
This theme gets credit for its energetic delivery and for the distinctive contribution of vocalist Will Roush. WWE’s August 2016 article identifies “Dreams That I Have” as one of Raw’s official themes. Roush described the opportunity as a career highlight, saying he had been a WWE fan since he was 12 and was “honored and ecstatic” to have one of Raw’s theme songs. WWE’s 2016 article documents the song and his comments.

Travis Scott’s Raw theme — announced for the Netflix premiere
WWE announced in November 2024 that new music by Travis Scott would serve as Raw’s theme for its Netflix premiere on January 6, 2025. The announcement makes the song relevant to Raw’s opening-theme story, but it does not establish that the music remained the regular opener in October 2026. Its ranking is therefore provisional in spirit: a notable premiere-era choice, not a verified current theme or a fully documented long-running entry. WWE’s Netflix premiere announcement gives the confirmed scope.

A special case: “Tonight Is the Night” — Outasight
WWE announced Outasight’s “Tonight Is the Night” as the official theme for Raw’s 1,000th episode in July 2012. That is evidence of a special-episode association, not proof that the song was the recurring weekly opener. It is kept outside the main ranking for that reason. WWE Corporate’s announcement describes the episode-specific billing.

A show-opening theme introduces the program; a Superstar entrance theme accompanies an individual wrestler. The distinction matters because WWE’s Raw 15th-anniversary CD was promoted as a collection of iconic entrance themes, not a compilation of Raw’s opening songs. Its track list features Superstar music. WWE’s CD announcement explains what that release contains.
Rank #4
For a documented release connected to an opener, WWE Corporate’s 2002 announcement for Forceable Entry identifies “Across the Nation” as the new Raw theme featured on the album. The page title also states that the album debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard Top 200; that is the historical figure WWE reported in 2002, not a current chart position. See WWE Corporate’s release announcement.
