Free over the air: local NBC with an antenna

What NFL+ did—and did not—cover
The NFL’s 2025 support documentation says NFL+ included live local and primetime regular-season and postseason games on supported devices, out-of-market preseason games, NFL Network games, and live audio. NFL+ Premium added replay access and NFL RedZone. The same documentation limited live local and primetime viewing primarily to phones and tablets, described availability as U.S.-only, and directed viewers outside the United States toward DAZN. No NBC channel with an antenna
- Run another channel scan and move the antenna near a window or higher position.
- Check the affiliate’s coverage for your address; an antenna cannot receive an out-of-market station.
- Use an authorized online service or a public viewing venue if reception remains unreliable.
Provider authentication fails
- Confirm that the plan includes the local NBC affiliate.
- Sign out and back in with the provider account, and check that the billing ZIP code matches the viewing location.
- Try the provider’s own app if the NBC page rejects the login.
Peacock will not play
