If you were searching for the Eagles’ Week 16 livestream, the relevant option is Prime Video, not a Philadelphia–Washington broadcast. Prime members can watch the Thursday Night Football game through Prime Video. Check the service and your device before game day because app availability, account access, and regional broadcast rules can change.
NFL+ is a secondary option for eligible viewers who want to watch a live primetime regular-season game on a phone or tablet. The NFL+ product information says live local and primetime regular-season games are available on mobile devices, subject to local-market, national-broadcast, geographic, and device restrictions. NFL+ should not be treated as a universal replacement for Prime Video on a television.

Viewers in the relevant local market should use their local FOX affiliate or an authorized live-TV provider that carries local FOX. Availability depends on your location and the provider’s local-channel lineup. NFL+ may provide live local-game access on a phone or tablet for eligible subscribers, but its restrictions mean it is not a guaranteed full-screen television substitute.

Week 8: Philadelphia at Washington
The second meeting is scheduled for Sunday, November 1, at 8:20 p.m. ET, when Philadelphia travels to Washington for Sunday Night Football. NBC is the scheduled broadcast network, and the NFL identifies Peacock as the streaming destination for Sunday Night Football.
For this game, use an NBC broadcast in an area where you receive the station, or an authorized Peacock or live-TV option that provides the game. NFL+ may offer primetime access on mobile devices under its applicable terms, but do not assume that an NFL+ subscription provides unrestricted live access on every smart TV or streaming device.

How to watch the Eagles’ Week 16 game on a TV
Smart TV or game console
- Open the television’s app store.
- Install Prime Video for the Texans–Eagles Week 16 game, or the relevant FOX, NBC, Peacock, or NFL app for one of the Eagles–Commanders dates.
- Sign in to the account associated with the service.
- Search for the scheduled game shortly before kickoff and confirm that the listing shows the correct matchup and date.
The exact menu names vary by television manufacturer. The NFL lists connected-TV support for platforms including Apple TV, Android TV and Google TV, Fire TV, Roku, Xbox, and selected Vizio and LG environments. Its official connected-TV information provides the current app-platform guidance.
Fire TV
On a compatible Fire TV device, install Prime Video from the app area, sign in, and search for the Week 16 Texans–Eagles game. Amazon’s device documentation identifies the Fire TV Stick 4K (2nd Gen) and Fire TV Stick 4K Max (2nd Gen) as current Fire TV streaming devices, and Amazon describes Fire TV Stick as an HDMI-connected way to access apps including Prime Video.
A streaming stick is only the hardware connection. It does not by itself provide Prime Video access, an NFL+ subscription, local FOX, NBC, or Peacock. You still need the applicable service and an internet connection. See Amazon’s Fire TV device specifications for supported models and requirements.
Browser or mobile device
For a browser, open the authorized service’s official website, sign in, and look for the game shortly before kickoff. For mobile viewing, use the official Prime Video, Peacock, FOX-provider, or NFL app that applies to the matchup.

Mobile access is particularly important for NFL+. NFL’s terms generally limit live regular-season and postseason game viewing to phones and tablets, with additional local-market and national-broadcast restrictions. Do not assume that an NFL+ mobile listing will cast or play as a fully unrestricted live stream on your television.
Which service do you need?

|---|---|---|
| Texans at Eagles, Week 16, December 24 | Prime Video | The game is scheduled for Thursday Night Football; account and service access are required. |
| Washington at Eagles, Week 1, September 13 | Local FOX or an authorized live-TV provider carrying local FOX | Local-channel availability varies by market. |
| Eagles at Washington, Week 8, November 1 | NBC or Peacock | NBC reception and streaming availability depend on location and service access. |
| Eligible primetime viewing on a phone or tablet | NFL+ | Live access is subject to NFL+’s device, market, geography, and broadcast restrictions. |
What about Washington’s Week 16 game?
Washington is scheduled to play at Minnesota in Week 16. As of August 12, 2026, the official Washington schedule still lists the game’s date, kickoff time, and network as TBD. It should not be described as an Eagles–Commanders game or given a definite streaming provider until the schedule is updated.
Common search and streaming mistakes
- Searching for a Week 16 Eagles–Commanders stream: no such 2026 regular-season matchup is scheduled in Week 16.
- Calling the game live “today”: August 12 is before the 2026 regular season begins. The relevant games are future events.
- Using Prime Video for the wrong matchup: Prime Video is the listed route for Texans at Eagles in Week 16, not the Eagles–Commanders games.
- Assuming every NFL+ game works on a television: NFL+ live regular-season access is generally mobile-oriented and subject to broadcast restrictions.
- Relying on an old schedule screenshot: Recheck the official Eagles, Commanders, NFL, and broadcaster listings close to kickoff for any flexing or availability updates.
Quick troubleshooting checklist
- Confirm the date, opponent, and kickoff time. The Eagles–Commanders games are September 13 and November 1; Philadelphia’s Week 16 game is December 24 against Houston.
- Confirm the correct service: FOX for Week 1, NBC/Peacock for Week 8, and Prime Video for Week 16.
- Check whether your local FOX or NBC station is included by your TV provider if you are watching a network game.
- Update the relevant app and your television or streaming device before kickoff.
- Sign in before the broadcast begins rather than waiting until the opening drive.
- If NFL+ is your planned route, verify that your device is a phone or tablet and that the game is eligible in your market.
- If a game does not appear, recheck the official schedule and service listing instead of assuming that the matchup has moved to another platform.
