The report established that seats and standing tickets were still available; it did not establish why.
What was available for Drake’s Perth shows?
Drake was scheduled to perform at RAC Arena on 4 and 5 February 2025. PerthNow reported on 3 February that tickets remained for both dates, including seated and standing general-admission tickets.
| Ticket category | Price reported on 3 February 2025 |
|---|---|
| Seated | $79.90 or $99.90, as reported by PerthNow |
| Standing general admission | $288.30, as reported by PerthNow |
These were prices reported for those shows in 2025, not current offers. PerthNow’s account is the basis for the availability and prices; it does not provide a later sales tally.
Why were tickets still available despite “ongoing demand”?
The available reporting does not answer why. PerthNow said the second date had been added in December 2024, with the promoter’s announcement describing the purpose as “to meet ongoing demand for tickets.” That statement concerned the decision to add a show; it does not demonstrate that demand continued at a level sufficient to sell out both dates.

- Take Care is the 8x platinum-certified sophomore album from Drake
PerthNow reported that RAC Arena and Live Nation did not comment when asked about ticket sales. The report therefore supports the fact that some tickets remained close to showtime, but not a specific explanation for the unsold inventory or a claim that adding the second date caused it.

For future RAC Arena events, the venue’s ticket guidance names Ticketek as its only legitimate seller and Ticketek Marketplace as its authorised resale platform. RAC Arena says it can guarantee tickets only when they are bought directly through Ticketek. This is general venue guidance, not evidence that tickets for Drake’s past Perth dates are available.
