The headline “YouTube TV adds three new Hallmark channels” is misleading as current news. Available evidence indicates subscribers could watch Hallmark Channel, Hallmark Mystery and Hallmark Family on YouTube TV by November 2021. The practical questions now are whether those networks are in your local lineup, how to find them, and whether you mean the separate on-demand service Hallmark+.
Which Hallmark channels are on YouTube TV?
The three linear networks usually meant are:

Hallmark’s own materials distinguish these cable networks from its subscription streaming service, Hallmark+. The names matter when searching YouTube TV: try Hallmark Mystery rather than its former name, and Hallmark Family rather than Hallmark Drama. Hallmark Media’s announcement lists the networks separately from its streaming product.

Did YouTube TV just add them?
The available evidence points to no. YouTube TV users reported all three networks on the service in November 2021. A later YouTube TV support-community answer from 2024 also described the three as part of the base-plan lineup. These are user reports and community guidance, not an official announcement of a new 2026 launch.
So if you have encountered a claim that YouTube TV has just added three Hallmark channels, treat it as potentially recycled or imprecise. It may refer to the older lineup expansion, or confuse the live networks with Hallmark+.

Are all three included, and can you record them?
YouTube TV support-community guidance says Hallmark Channel, Hallmark Mystery and Hallmark Family are included in the standard base plan. The same guidance says you can record their programs using YouTube TV’s cloud DVR. Availability is not a universal guarantee, however: YouTube TV says networks and add-ons can depend on location and membership details. Check the official lineup and location information using your ZIP code and account.
For linear programming, look for a show in the Live guide or search for its title and use YouTube TV’s recording controls. Availability and recording rights can still vary by program. This live-network access is distinct from Hallmark+’s on-demand catalog.

Hallmark networks and Hallmark+: not the same thing
The three Hallmark networks are linear channels: they appear in the live lineup where available, and YouTube TV community guidance says their programs can be recorded. Hallmark+ is a separate subscription service focused on on-demand viewing; it is not a fourth Hallmark live channel and does not simply appear as a network in YouTube TV’s Live guide. YouTube TV support-community guidance describes Hallmark+ as on-demand only (finding Hallmark content).

Do not assume Hallmark+ includes every broadcast shown on the linear networks, or that a subscription purchased directly from Hallmark transfers to YouTube TV. YouTube TV community guidance says an externally purchased Hallmark+ subscription cannot simply be added to a YouTube TV account (account guidance). Check where you were billed before managing or canceling that subscription.

How to find a channel that seems to be missing
- Search by its current name. In YouTube TV, search for Hallmark Channel, Hallmark Mystery or Hallmark Family. Searching for Hallmark Movies & Mysteries or Hallmark Drama may not surface the current network name as expected.
- Check the Live tab. Browse the guide or search a program title. If you are looking for Hallmark+, do not expect it to appear as a live channel.
- Check your customized guide. If you have edited the Live guide, a network may be hidden even when it is available to your account. YouTube TV’s guide instructions explain how to customize the lineup; add the Hallmark networks back if they were excluded.
- Verify the ZIP-code lineup and membership. Use YouTube TV’s network availability information. Do not assume a channel list for another market or account applies to yours.
- Check which household account manages the plan. With family sharing, the family manager controls the membership and add-ons. See YouTube TV’s family-group guidance if members see different account or subscription details.
On web or mobile, YouTube TV search can also help locate Hallmark+ content, and support guidance points to service icons on the Home page. That is a route to on-demand content, not proof that Hallmark+ is a live channel.

- You want a broad live-TV replacement plus Hallmark: YouTube TV may fit if your ZIP-code lineup includes the three networks. Check the current plan and price at YouTube TV before subscribing; prices and availability can change.
- You mainly want Hallmark on-demand titles or streaming exclusives: Consider Hallmark+ separately at its official site. It is not a substitute for a live Hallmark channel when you want to watch a broadcast in real time.
- You mainly want Hallmark and similar family or lifestyle channels: A narrower live-TV service such as Frndly TV may be worth comparing with a full live-TV bundle. Confirm its current channel list, tier and price before choosing; it is not a like-for-like replacement for YouTube TV’s broad sports, news and entertainment selection.
- You only watch occasionally: Compare the cost of a full live-TV plan with the amount you will actually watch. Avoid paying for Hallmark+ if what you want is only the three linear networks and your YouTube TV lineup already includes them.
This is a U.S. YouTube TV lineup question. A channel’s presence should be confirmed for your location and membership, rather than inferred from a national list or an older report.
