What kind of game is Rebrushed?
Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed remakes the 2010 game. Mickey is drawn into Wasteland, a world associated with forgotten Disney characters, and explores it through 3D platforming, quests, collectibles, and classic-cartoon-inspired side-scrolling sections.

The Switch version’s technical drawbacks
Nintendo Life’s reviewer reports frame hitches, drops of 5–10 fps even during quieter moments, visible pop-in on entering areas, and loading times just under 40 seconds for some larger areas. The review says these problems detracted from the experience but remained tolerable in that playthrough and did not outweigh the gameplay. These observations apply to that reviewer’s Switch experience; they do not establish performance on Switch 2, PlayStation, Xbox, or PC.
Which version should you get?
Pick the edition for the hardware you own and the features you value. The Switch 2 version is the newest release, but its advertised improvements are publisher claims rather than independently tested comparisons here. Nintendo Life’s performance criticism concerns the original Switch version, and there is no matched cross-platform benchmark in the cited sources to rank image quality or frame rates across systems.

What to know before buying
- The game is single-player; the PlayStation listing specifies offline play, while Nintendo lists one-player single-system play.
- Nintendo lists the Switch file size as 11.7 GB and the Switch 2 listing as 19.2 GB. These are store listing figures, not estimates of physical cartridge capacity or final space needed after updates.
- Nintendo’s US listing shows the Costume Pack DLC separately for $4.99; THQ Nordic says it is included with the Switch 2 release. Those are different purchase details, so check the edition you are buying.
