Yes—Selena released English-language songs on Dreaming of You, but she never released a completed album entirely in English. The posthumous 1995 album combines English and Spanish material.
Was Dreaming of You an English-language album?
It was bilingual, not all-English. Apple Music describes the release as bilingual, with its first half predominantly in English. It includes English songs such as “I Could Fall in Love” and “Dreaming of You,” alongside Spanish-language material. The label also identifies those two songs as new English tracks on the album. Apple Music’s album page and the Universal Music Latin listing describe the release and its contents.

What happened to Selena’s planned all-English album?
Selena signed with SBK Records in 1993 to make an all-English album. The project was not completed as a separate English-language release: it was eventually replaced by the bilingual Dreaming of You, according to the Texas State Historical Association.
Dreaming of You was released posthumously on July 18, 1995. The Recording Academy calls it an English-language crossover album, but that description refers to its crossover purpose and English material; it does not mean every song is in English. The label describes it as Selena’s final studio and crossover project. The Recording Academy’s profile and the label’s album listing provide that context.

How was the album received?
Dreaming of You debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 on August 5, 1995. Guinness World Records reports first-week sales of 331,000 copies in 1995. The Guinness record page documents both the chart debut and the sales figure.
The Smithsonian also says Selena became the first music artist to have five Spanish albums simultaneously on the Billboard 200; its page does not specify a year for that milestone. The Smithsonian’s Selena profile gives the detail.
