Career: from modeling to film and television
Breakthrough film roles
Her prominent film credits include the science-fiction action film Starship Troopers and the thriller Wild Things. In The World Is Not Enough, she played Dr. Christmas Jones opposite Pierce Brosnan. Paramount’s April 2019 biography identifies the Bond role and also lists films such as Drop Dead Gorgeous, Scary Movie 3, Undercover Brother, Love Actually and Madea’s Witness Protection.
Television and reality projects
Richards has worked in scripted television as well as reality programming, including The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Family and daughters
Richards has three daughters. In a March 13, 2025 ABC News interview, she discussed daughters Sam and Lola, whom she shares with actor Charlie Sheen, and Eloise, whom she adopted in 2011. The interview also addressed Eloise’s rare disorder and Richards’s experience raising her. Those health details are personal and are included here only as context reported in that interview.
Married life: what the dated accounts establish
Bravo’s biography records Richards’s marriage to Aaron Phypers in 2018. A separate March 19, 2025 Bravo interview discussed their relationship as it stood at the time. These publications document a historical timeline, not Richards’s marital status in October 2026; the sources cited here do not establish whether she is currently married.
Memoir
Richards wrote The Real Girl Next Door, a memoir. Paramount’s April 2019 biography described the book as a New York Times bestseller. That description is attributable to the dated biography and is not a statement about current sales or ranking.
