A Los Angeles County Superior Court judge signed a reported $160,483.97 default judgment against Aaron Phypers in Rupert Perry’s lawsuit over treatment his late wife received at Phypers’s Malibu wellness business, Quantum 360 Club. That case is separate from a reported $228,000 judgment in an unpaid-loan matter involving a creditor’s unsuccessful request to seize Denise Richards’s wages.
What happened in the lawsuit against Denise Richards’ husband?
On March 27, 2026, Us Weekly reported that a Los Angeles County Superior Court judge signed a default judgment ordering Phypers to pay Rupert Perry $160,483.97. The reported total comprises $126,000 in damages, $33,001.12 in interest and $1,482.85 in costs.
A default judgment is a court outcome entered when a defendant does not respond or otherwise defend a case as required. It is not the same as a contested trial verdict in which a judge or jury weighs both sides’ evidence. The report does not establish whether the judgment has been paid, appealed, or otherwise resolved.
What did Perry’s case allege?
Perry sued in November 2024 over treatment his late wife, Elina Katsioula-Beall, received at Quantum 360 Club. Us Weekly’s account of the complaint says Perry alleged fraud and breach of oral contract. The complaint reportedly said Phypers represented that stem cell treatment could “cure or at least ameliorate” Katsioula-Beall’s sarcoma and “claimed that the treatment had a 98 percent success rate.”

Those statements are allegations described in the complaint, not established medical findings. The reporting does not independently validate the claimed 98 percent success rate or establish that the treatment caused harm.
The treatment payment and refund dispute
According to the complaint as reported by Us Weekly, the treatment cost $126,000. Perry alleged that after it did not work, he requested a $63,000 partial refund. A source close to Phypers disputed his responsibility to provide the refund and characterized him as a middleman. The available account does not establish that Phypers personally made every alleged promise.

Is Quantum 360 Club closed?
Us Weekly reported in January 2025 that Quantum 360 Club appeared to have closed. In later divorce-document coverage, the outlet reported that Phypers told the court he had closed his business in 2024 and had earned no income since. His reported filing stated: “I had to close down my business last year and have made [no] income since.” The available reporting does not give a precise closure date or detailed reasons for the closure.
How much does Aaron Phypers owe, and are the cases connected?
Two reported judgments involve different claims and creditors. They should not be combined into one case or one debt figure.

In July 2025 coverage of divorce documents, Us Weekly reported that Phypers listed zero average monthly income and about $105,000 in monthly expenses. These are figures he reported in a filing, not independently verified or audited household accounts. They also do not establish the current status of either judgment or how much, if anything, remains outstanding.
