The Numbers’ August 23, 2024 weekend chart supplies the exact figures. Box Office Mojo’s Domestic Weekend 34 chart identifies the period as August 23–25 and reports the same ranks and grosses.
Why the comparison needs context
Deadpool & Wolverine was a holdover in its fifth weekend, while Blink Twice and The Crow were opening. The older release therefore led both newcomers in that weekend’s domestic chart; this is a weekend-rank comparison, not a comparison of like-for-like opening weekends.

The Numbers also lists Deadpool & Wolverine with a cumulative domestic gross of $577,213,606 after 31 days in release. That running total covers more than the August 23–25 weekend and should not be compared directly with either new film’s opening-weekend amount.
Exact chart totals versus Sunday estimates
In an August 25, 2024 report, TheWrap described the weekend figures in rounded terms: $18.3 million for Deadpool & Wolverine, $7.3 million for Blink Twice, and $4.6 million for The Crow. It also reported $577 million domestic and $1.21 billion worldwide for Deadpool & Wolverine. Those are rounded contemporaneous report figures; the precise weekend comparison above uses the chart totals.
