Where to watch Season 2 Episode 1
Crunchyroll was the confirmed international streaming destination for the season. The initial announcement said that Season 2 would stream on Crunchyroll, and Crunchyroll later confirmed the July 3 premiere date. [c002] [c003] Viewers checking the service today should use its release calendar or search the DAN DA DAN series page, since the historical premiere time does not guarantee identical catalog behavior in every territory.
Netflix also lists DAN DA DAN Season 2 in its official catalog. Availability and display timing can vary by country and account region, so it is safer to check the title page in the relevant territory rather than assume that every Netflix market released the episode at the same clock time. [c005]

Why the Japanese date says July 3 at 24:26
The Japanese broadcaster’s listing uses a television-scheduling convention rather than stopping the date at midnight. Under that convention:
- July 3 at 24:26 JST is the official broadcast notation.
- July 4 at 12:26 a.m. JST is the equivalent normal-clock time.
These are not two different Japanese premieres. They describe the same overnight broadcast. The MBS/TBS 28-station network listing identifies that slot as the first national-network broadcast. Later listings for AT-X, BS Nippon Television, and Animax should not be mistaken for the initial premiere. [c001]
Rank #3
Was the theatrical film the streaming premiere?
No. DAN DA DAN: EVIL EYE was a theatrical compilation that presented the first three episodes of Season 2 ahead of the weekly streaming rollout. It was not a separate replacement for the Season 2 streaming premiere. [c002]
What to read or collect after watching
Physical releases
Aniplex’s official Season 2 product catalog lists DAN DA DAN Season 2 Blu-ray/DVD releases and an original soundtrack connected with the season. These are optional collector purchases, not prerequisites for watching Episode 1; availability, editions, and release dates can differ by region. [c007]

The manga source material
The anime adapts Yukinobu Tatsu’s DAN DA DAN manga. Readers who want the source material can explore the DAN DA DAN manga volumes, but a specific volume or chapter should not be treated as the exact Episode 1 endpoint without checking the adaptation mapping. [c002]
