No—Hulu is not included with an Amazon Prime membership. You can watch Hulu on a compatible Fire TV device, but you need a separate Hulu subscription and must sign in to the Hulu app. Amazon may offer third-party subscriptions through Prime Video Channels; check your local catalog for any Hulu-related offer, and treat it as an extra paid subscription—not a Prime benefit.
Is Hulu free with Amazon Prime?
No. Prime membership includes eligible Prime benefits, including access to selected Prime Video programming, but it does not give you a Hulu subscription. Hulu has its own plans, account, billing and app. Amazon describes Prime Video as a Prime benefit, while Hulu presents its plans through its own signup pages (Amazon Prime; Hulu signup).
Prime Video also has different kinds of access: titles included with Prime, rentals or purchases, and optional paid subscriptions to participating services. Seeing a Hulu title, app listing or search result in an Amazon interface does not mean Hulu is included in your membership. Amazon’s included-with-Prime catalog is separate from its other video offerings.

Can I subscribe to Hulu through Amazon?
Amazon offers Prime Video Channels, which are optional paid subscriptions to participating services. The catalog can vary by country, account and time, so check the Channels section of your own Prime Video account if you want to see whether a Hulu-related subscription is offered there. The Amazon channel information available publicly lists various participating services but does not establish a universal Hulu listing (Amazon channel information).

If Hulu appears in your catalog, read the offer carefully: it would be an additional subscription, with its own charge, not something made free by Prime. If it does not appear, Hulu’s direct signup is the dependable route: hulu.com/welcome. Before subscribing through any platform, check which company will bill you and handle cancellation, refunds and account support.
How to watch Hulu on Fire TV
A compatible Fire TV device can run the Hulu app. The device is only the way you watch; it does not supply a Hulu subscription or automatically connect your Amazon and Hulu accounts.
- Go to Hulu’s signup page, choose an available plan or bundle, and create or use a Hulu account.
- Complete signup and payment through the provider shown at checkout.
- On Fire TV, open its app store or search feature and look for Hulu.
- Install the official Hulu app, open it and choose the sign-in option.
- Enter the credentials for the Hulu account with the active subscription, or follow the activation method displayed in the app.
Menu names and app availability can differ by device, software version and country. Not every older Amazon streaming device is guaranteed to support the current Hulu app or every Hulu feature.

If Hulu does not appear in the app store: confirm the device is online, check that its country and Amazon account region are supported, install available system updates, and search the device’s app store rather than only the Prime Video catalog. Also check whether parental controls or a managed device profile restrict app installation. If the device is too old or unsupported, use another compatible TV, streaming device or platform where Hulu is available.
How Hulu billing works
The platform you use to watch and the company that bills you are separate questions. Your billing provider is generally the place to manage the subscription and ask about charges or cancellation.

An Amazon login does not automatically log you in to Hulu or grant Hulu access. You can use the same email address for both services, but that does not merge the accounts. You still need an eligible Hulu subscription and the account credentials associated with it.

Likewise, an Amazon gift-card balance is not automatically a payment method for a Hulu subscription purchased directly from Hulu. Check the payment options shown at Hulu checkout or in its Help Center before buying a gift card for this purpose. A third-party billed offer, if available, may have different payment rules.

Hulu’s available plans, bundles, trials and prices change and may depend on location, eligibility and promotion. Hulu pages displayed the following prices when checked on August 18, 2026; treat them as dated examples, not guaranteed current prices. Confirm the total and terms on the signup page before paying.
- Standalone Hulu: Hulu displayed offers beginning at $11.99 per month in some page sections. Choose this route if you mainly want Hulu’s on-demand service.
- Disney+ and Hulu bundle: Hulu displayed a bundle at $12.99 per month and a Premium bundle at $19.99 per month. This may suit a household that also wants Disney+. The bundle is still separate from Prime.
- Hulu + Live TV: Hulu displayed $89.99 per month after a three-day trial where eligible. Choose it only if you want live television as well as on-demand programming. Hulu says channel availability varies by area; regional restrictions and blackouts can apply (Hulu + Live TV).
Check the plan description for ads, included services, trial eligibility, taxes and add-ons. A low introductory or bundle price may not describe what you will pay later, and a Live TV plan is a different, higher-cost choice from on-demand Hulu.

Common account and billing problems
“I found Hulu in Prime Video search. Does that mean I have it?”
No. The result might be a title, trailer, rental or purchase listing, app listing, or a paid channel offer. Check whether the listing explicitly says the subscription is included with your plan. Prime membership alone does not confer Hulu access.
“I subscribed, but the Fire TV app says I have no access.”
You may have signed in to a different Hulu account than the one tied to the subscription, used another email at signup, or purchased through a different billing provider. Sign out and back in with the correct Hulu account, restart or update the app, then check subscription status with the company that billed you. Also make sure your plan includes the feature you are trying to use—for example, Live TV requires an applicable plan—and consider region, device and household limits. Contact Hulu support for a direct Hulu subscription or Amazon support for an Amazon-billed offer.

Canceling Prime does not necessarily cancel a separate Hulu subscription. Check Hulu’s account billing page and, if you subscribed through Amazon, the Amazon subscriptions or Channels area. Your bank or card statement can help identify which company is charging you.

“I canceled in the app, but the charge continued.”
Removing or signing out of an app does not cancel the subscription. Make sure you canceled with the provider that bills you, and confirm the cancellation status there. If you are unsure which provider owns the billing, check your account pages and payment statement before starting another cancellation request.
Do Prime trials, Prime Student or Amazon Household include Hulu?
Do not assume so. A Prime trial or Prime Student membership does not by itself create a Hulu subscription. Sharing eligible Prime benefits through Amazon Household also does not automatically share a separately purchased Hulu account. Hulu access and household rules are governed by the Hulu plan and account, or by the terms of the specific third-party offer if you bought one. Verify the terms of any promotion rather than relying on Prime membership status.
