For a 24/7 Hindi podcast stream, prepare a rights-cleared playlist, send it to YouTube Live through an encoder, and choose whether that encoder runs on your own computer or in the cloud. Test the stream while unlisted, confirm the Hindi audio and stream health, and plan how to handle broadcasts longer than 12 hours: YouTube says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived, so do not assume a single day-long stream will produce one complete archive.
Prepare a Hindi podcast playlist that works as a continuous stream
Use episodes you have permission to broadcast
Start with recordings you own or are licensed to use. Keep documentation of permissions for the podcast recording, guest contributions, intro and outro music, clips, and background tracks. YouTube says the streamer must have the necessary rights for live and archived content. Its live-stream terms are at YouTube’s live-stream terms.
Make the rotation useful to listeners
Arrange episodes in a deliberate order and give viewers context with a simple visual: show name, episode title, host information, or a schedule. A static or lightly animated image can accompany the audio; the visual does not need to be elaborate. Meaningful variation and clear episode identification make a continuous stream more useful than an unexplained loop.
Check channel eligibility before scheduling
YouTube requires a verified channel with no live-streaming restrictions in the previous 90 days. Enabling live streaming for the first time can take up to 24 hours. Check your channel’s eligibility and activation status before announcing a start time. See YouTube’s live-stream setup guidance.

Choose how to keep the stream running
| Method | What it suits | Trade-offs |
|---|---|---|
| StreamNeo cloud service | Playing uploaded podcast videos as a continuous YouTube stream without leaving a computer running at home. | It is a paid cloud service after the one-day free trial; review the service and plan details before choosing it. |
| Local software encoder | Creators who want direct control of scenes, audio, overlays, and the stream key. OBS is one documented software option. | Your computer, encoder software, power, and internet connection must remain operational; you must also arrange monitoring and recovery. |
| Another cloud automation service | Creators considering hosted playback instead of an always-on local computer. | Verify its current features, price, regional availability, terms, and workflow. Gyre markets continuous prerecorded-video streaming, but that vendor description is not independent reliability evidence. |
OBS describes itself as software for capturing, compositing, encoding, recording, and streaming video; its project is at the OBS Studio repository. A cloud service can reduce dependence on your own computer continuously sending the feed, but its exact capabilities and terms must be checked with the provider.
Set up YouTube Live and configure the encoder
- Create or schedule the broadcast. In YouTube Studio, open the Live Control Room and create or schedule an encoder stream. Scheduling gives viewers a watch-page URL and the option to set a reminder.
- Connect the encoder. Copy YouTube’s server URL and stream key into the matching fields in your encoder. Treat the key like a password; reset it if you think someone else has accessed it. Follow YouTube’s encoder setup guide and stream settings guide.
- Use supported, sustainable settings. YouTube’s encoder guidance supports H.264, H.265/HEVC, and AV1 video, AAC or MP3 audio, constant bitrate encoding, and recommends a two-second keyframe interval that does not exceed four seconds. YouTube recommends RTMPS for encrypted ingest. Choose a resolution and bitrate your connection or cloud workflow can sustain continuously; a mostly static podcast visual rarely needs the highest video quality. YouTube transcodes live streams for different playback formats. Check the current YouTube encoder settings and verify the result with a test stream.
Test the stream before making it public
- Run an unlisted test and preview the feed before starting the public broadcast.
- Open the watch page from your channel and on a phone; listen to the actual Hindi audio, not just the encoder monitor.
- Check for silence, clipping, level changes, abrupt transitions, and incorrect episode order.
- For a local setup, confirm that any local recording or archive file is growing as expected. Test backup failover if your workflow uses it.
- Keep monitoring audio and video quality after going live. YouTube’s streaming tips recommend testing and monitoring before and during a broadcast.
Allow upload bandwidth headroom
YouTube recommends leaving 20% spare upload bandwidth beyond the total streaming bitrate. For example, if your stream sends 5 Mbps, the recommended spare capacity is 1 Mbps above that, for at least 6 Mbps of available outbound capacity. If you run primary and backup streams, include both bitrates in the total. Measure actual upload capacity rather than relying on the advertised download speed of your internet plan. This 20% figure is YouTube guidance, not a guarantee of uninterrupted service. See YouTube’s streaming tips.

Plan for archives and long-running sessions
YouTube states that streams under 12 hours are automatically archived. That is a documented threshold for automatic archiving, not a statement that longer streams cannot run. Do not promise listeners or collaborators that one 24/7 broadcast will become one complete archive. If predictable archives matter, plan scheduled segments and verify the current controls and results in your Live Control Room before relying on that workflow. YouTube’s encoder instructions explain the archive threshold.
Protect the stream from copyright and monetization problems
Clear rights for every part of the broadcast
YouTube scans live streams for third-party content. If it detects copyrighted material, it may replace the stream with a placeholder and warn you; if the material remains, it may interrupt or terminate the broadcast. Even licensed third-party content can be interrupted unless the rights holder allowlists your channel through Content ID. Clear rights for the podcast, guests, music, clips, and other audio before scheduling. Read YouTube’s copyright guidance.

Do not treat continuous playback as a monetization shortcut
YouTube’s monetization policy, updated July 15, 2025, clarified that repetitive or mass-produced material is categorized as “inauthentic content”; reused content is assessed separately at channel level. The policy says monetized content should be original and authentic. An original Hindi podcast may be editorially suitable for a live stream, but repeating the same material with little variation does not guarantee YouTube Partner Program approval or monetization. Add real audience value and meaningful editorial variation, and do not budget on the assumption that a 24/7 stream will earn revenue. See YouTube’s channel monetization policies.
