The 2024 Belmont Stakes is over. It was held on Saturday, June 8, 2024—not today. In the United States, the live national broadcast was on FOX, with streaming access through the FOX Sports app and FOXSports.com for viewers whose provider and location supported access. FOX’s horse-racing video archive may also have the full-race replay, although availability, sign-in requirements, and regional restrictions can change.
Where the 2024 Belmont Stakes was broadcast
The 156th Belmont Stakes was carried nationally on FOX. Viewers in the United States could also use the FOX Sports app or FOXSports.com, generally with an eligible television-provider login and access determined by location and platform rules.
The main race was scheduled for a 6:41 p.m. Eastern Time post on Saturday, June 8, 2024. That was the post time for the Belmont Stakes itself, not the start of the day’s complete racing coverage.
| Coverage | Channel or service | 2024 schedule |
|---|---|---|
| Early Belmont Day programming | FS1 | 10:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m. ET |
| Main Belmont Day broadcast | FOX | 4:00–7:00 p.m. ET |
| Alternate handicapping telecast | FS1 | Beginning at 4:00 p.m. ET |
| Additional festival programming | FS2 | Schedule varied by program |
NYRA said that FOX, FS1, and FS2 coverage could also be streamed through the FOX Sports app and FOXSports.com. That did not mean every viewer could watch without authentication: access depended on the viewer’s provider, territory, device, and the platform’s current requirements.

How to watch the completed race now
- Check FOX Sports’ horse-racing video archive. FOX’s current horse-racing page has listed a full 2024 Belmont Stakes race video. Search the archive for “2024 Belmont Stakes” or “Belmont Stakes full race.”
- Expect access conditions to vary. A replay may require a FOX Sports login, a participating television-provider account, a subscription, or may be unavailable in some locations. Do not assume that the video is free, unrestricted, or permanently hosted.
- Use the official race result to confirm you have the right video. The 2024 winner was Dornoch, who finished in 2:01.64 with Luis Saez aboard and Danny Gargan as trainer.
The archive location and its access rules can change after publication. If the full race is no longer available, official race-result and video pages from FOX Sports or NYRA are safer sources than unofficial uploads, whose legality, completeness, and audio quality may be uncertain.
Why the 2024 Belmont Stakes was different
The race was moved from Belmont Park in Elmont, New York, to Saratoga Race Course in Saratoga Springs while Belmont Park underwent renovations. It was the first Belmont Stakes held at Saratoga.
The relocation also changed the race distance. The traditional Belmont Stakes distance is 1 1/2 miles, but the 2024 running at Saratoga was contested at 1 1/4 miles. It remained a Grade 1 race, carried a $2 million purse, and served as the third and final leg of the U.S. Triple Crown.

What “from anywhere” means for this event
For the 2024 broadcast, “from anywhere” should be read as “from different viewing locations within the United States,” not as a guarantee of worldwide access. The verified broadcast information establishes FOX, FS1, FS2, the FOX Sports app, and FOXSports.com as U.S. distribution options. It does not establish one universal international broadcaster list.

Viewers in the United States
A U.S. viewer could watch the main broadcast through a participating television provider carrying FOX, or try the FOX Sports app or FOXSports.com where the viewer’s provider and location supported streaming. FS1 and FS2 were relevant for the surrounding programming and the alternate handicapping feed, but the Belmont Stakes itself was on FOX.
Viewers outside the United States
International rights were territory-specific. A U.S. FOX streaming arrangement might not work abroad, even if the viewer had a U.S. account, because authentication and geographic restrictions can apply. The available evidence does not support naming a single broadcaster for every country. Viewers outside the U.S. should check the official racing broadcaster or rights-holder information for their own territory rather than relying on a U.S. schedule.

Was NYRA Bets required to watch?
No. NYRA Bets was not the verified primary outlet for the national Belmont Stakes broadcast. It is a NYRA wagering and racing-video service that may provide live racing video or race replays, subject to its own registration, location, eligibility, and product rules.
Anyone using a wagering service should review the applicable age, location, identity-verification, and responsible-gambling requirements. Watching the broadcast did not require placing a bet.
