Avatar: Seven Havens will premiere globally on Paramount+ on Friday, October 9, 2026. When does Seven Havens premiere?
Avatar: Seven Havens premieres globally on Friday, October 9, 2026, on Paramount+. Paramount+ is the announced streaming home for the series.
The official information confirms the premiere date, but it does not yet say whether all 26 episodes will be released at once. Korra’s severed connection to the past Avatars is equally important. The Avatar cycle continues with Pavi, but the old chain of spiritual guidance established by previous incarnations is no longer intact in the same way. The series therefore inherits unresolved spiritual and historical consequences from The Legend of Korra instead of treating that show as unrelated backstory.
What the official sources do not establish is the exact number of years between Korra and Pavi. They also do not explain when, where, or how the cataclysm occurred. Claims that assign a precise date or timeline should be treated as speculation until the creators or Paramount release more information.
Pavi is an Avatar entering a hostile world
Pavi is a young Earthbender before she discovers her Avatar identity. That detail gives her a different starting point from the familiar “fully trained spiritual hero” model. Her challenge is not only learning what the Avatar can do; it is deciding how to use that identity when entire communities distrust it.
Paramount+’s official character guide indicates that the promotional artwork suggests Pavi is an amputee. The available official material does not explain the history of her disability, whether it affects her bending, or how it will shape her journey. Those details should not be filled in with fan theories.
The most significant confirmed mystery surrounding Pavi is her long-lost twin. The announcement says the twins must uncover their mysterious origins and save the Seven Havens. The official material reviewed so far does not give the twin’s name, bending abilities, or a definitive explanation of the twin’s role in the Avatar cycle.

The new Team Avatar
Jae
Jae is an Airbender, Pavi’s mentor and friend, and a member of the new Team Avatar. According to the official Paramount+ guide, Jae lives with Pavi in the city of Alora. Jae’s role is notable because the character is presented as both a mentor and a peer: Pavi is not navigating the new world entirely alone, even though her Avatar identity isolates her from much of society.
Geet
Geet is Pavi’s cat monkey companion, voiced by Dee Bradley Baker. The official guide distinguishes Geet from the sky-bison companions associated with earlier Avatar stories. No broader voice cast for Pavi, the twin, Jae, or the wider ensemble has been identified in the official material reviewed for this article.
The Seven Havens and the unexplained cataclysm
The title refers to the seven surviving havens that remain after the world-shattering catastrophe. They are described as civilization’s last strongholds, but the official sources have not yet named all seven, published a complete map, or explained how each haven functions.
That lack of information is significant. The cataclysm is the event that defines Pavi’s world, but its cause and mechanics remain undisclosed. The available premise does not confirm whether it was caused by a political conflict, a spiritual rupture, a natural disaster, a technological event, an Avatar-related failure, or some combination of forces. The official material also does not establish whether the devastation affected the entire planet or a particular region.
The strongest confirmed conflict is therefore broader than a mystery about one disaster. Nickelodeon announced Avatar: Seven Havens on February 20, 2025, under the Avatar Studios banner. The project is being produced by Nickelodeon Animation in Burbank as an original 2D-animated series.
