Original U.S. viewing options
During Paris 2024, NBCUniversal listed the match among its Olympic programming, with Peacock carrying every Olympic soccer match live. NBCUniversal also distributed Olympic coverage through NBCOlympics.com, NBC.com, the NBC Sports app, the NBC app, USA Network and related services.
Some NBCUniversal digital platforms used TV Everywhere authentication. That meant viewers could need an eligible cable, satellite or live-TV provider login, even when the app itself was free to download.
Telemundo and Universo provided Spanish-language Olympic coverage, while Peacock also streamed Olympic football. The exact channel and digital access path depended on the viewer’s market and credentials.

Was the match free to watch?
There are three different meanings of “free,” and they should not be confused:
- Free without a subscription: The available U.S. coverage information does not establish that a free, full-match stream was available.
- Free with an existing pay-TV subscription: Possible through authenticated NBCUniversal services for customers of participating providers.
- Free-to-air television: Depended on the country, local rights and channel schedule. The U.S. streaming arrangements should not be applied automatically to Argentina, Morocco, the U.K., France or other territories.
Peacock was the relevant U.S. service in 2024, but its current plans, pricing and archive catalogue should be checked directly at Peacock. Do not subscribe on the assumption that this historical match is guaranteed to be included.
Be cautious with websites advertising a “free Olympic livestream” after the event. Unofficial streams may infringe copyright, disappear without warning, collect personal information or expose visitors to scams and malware.

What competition was this?
This was men’s Olympic football at Paris 2024, not a senior FIFA World Cup or Copa América match. Olympic men’s football is primarily an under-23 competition, with limited exceptions for over-age players. As a result, the squads and lineups should not be assumed to be the usual senior Argentina and Morocco national teams.
The official Paris 2024 schedule identified Argentina–Morocco as Match No. 4 at Marseille Stadium and as Argentina’s opening Group B fixture.

What happened in Argentina vs. Morocco?
Morocco won 2–1. The match became especially notable because Argentina appeared to equalize deep into stoppage time. Play was interrupted for a lengthy period, after which a VAR review ruled out the goal for offside. The late sequence generated confusion in live coverage, but the match was not replayed or abandoned; Morocco’s 2–1 victory stood.
The official NBC Sports highlights are the safest starting point for viewers who want to see the key incidents without relying on social-media clips.

- Disable ad-blocking or tracking protection only when an official, trusted service requires it.
- If no official full replay is listed, use the official highlights and match report instead.
A VPN is not a guaranteed or necessarily rights-compliant way to access another country’s stream, so it should not be treated as a solution to regional restrictions.

Viewing outside the United States
Olympic broadcast rights were negotiated separately by market. A legitimate free replay or highlights page in one country may be blocked in another, and the U.S. Peacock arrangement does not establish availability in Argentina, Morocco, the United Kingdom, France, Canada, Australia or elsewhere.
Viewers outside the U.S. should look for the official Olympic broadcaster or rights-holder archive in their own country. If only a current live-sports page appears in search results, check whether it actually offers an on-demand video rather than a live score, text commentary or an expired event listing.
