Apple launched Monthly Replay 2025 on February 3, 2025, with January as the first completed month available. It lets eligible Apple Music subscribers review their listening month by month. The launch is historical—not a new feature in 2026—and the monthly view is separate from Apple’s weekly-updated annual Replay playlist and year-end recap.
What Apple Music Monthly Replay shows
Monthly Replay is the month-by-month part of Apple Music Replay. Apple says Replay uses your listening history, play counts, and time spent listening to build a picture of your activity. The 2025 launch highlighted top artists, songs, albums, and listening milestones. Depending on your activity and the way Replay is presented, you may also see other listening details. The exact cards can vary by month, account eligibility, region, and Apple’s interface.
Replay reflects activity associated with your Apple Music account; it is not simply a tally of songs saved to your library. Apple describes plays and listening time as inputs, so adding a track to a playlist alone does not make it a top Replay song. If several people use the same account, their listening may affect its rankings—an account-based practical consequence, rather than a separate household profile.
How to find your 2025 monthly results
On iPhone, iPad, or Android
- Open the Music or Apple Music app and sign in with the Apple Account used for your Apple Music subscription.
- Go to Home and scroll to Replay: Your Top Music.
- Tap Go back in time, then look for the relevant 2025 month or playlist.
Apple’s current instructions include Android as well as iPhone and iPad. App labels and placement can change, so if the Replay section is not visible, try the web method below.

On Mac or PC, or in a browser
- Visit replay.music.apple.com.
- Sign in with the same Apple Account you use with Apple Music.
- Select Jump In and choose an available Replay view or month.
The web version is Apple’s reliable cross-platform route for Mac and PC; do not assume every Replay feature is available directly in the macOS Music app. At the February 2025 launch, the web address was also reported as music.apple.com/replay; Apple’s current support instructions point to replay.music.apple.com.
Why a month may not appear
Replay does not promise a result for every account or every month. A month may be missing because it is still in progress, there was not enough listening activity, listening history was off, or the data has not synchronized yet. Apple says Replay appears once you have played enough music and that it will notify you when it is ready. Monthly summaries generally follow completed months, but Apple does not specify an exact publication cutoff or refresh time.

Check the following before concluding that your history is lost:

- Confirm the account. Use the Apple Account connected to your Apple Music subscription, which may not be the account you use for iCloud or device setup.
- Turn on Use Listening History. On iPhone or iPad, open Settings > Apps > Music and enable Use Listening History. On Mac, open Music, choose Music > Settings > General, and enable the setting. On Android, open Apple Music, tap More > Settings, and turn on the listening-history option.
- Check the month and year. The current annual Replay playlist is not the same as a past month’s results.
- Allow time for syncing. Check again later and try the Replay website if the app’s card is absent.
- Consider account or subscription changes. A different account or a changed or expired subscription can affect access. Apple’s instructions tell users to sign in with the account used for Apple Music; they do not guarantee that all historical playlists remain playable after a subscription ends.
Apple describes Replay as based on Apple Music listening history. Its documentation does not settle every edge case, such as exactly how offline plays are incorporated or when each month’s data finalizes, so avoid treating a missing or delayed result as proof that particular listening was excluded.

Monthly Replay, the annual playlist, and year-end Replay

Apple’s broader Replay overview describes statistics that can include top songs, artists, albums, genres, playlists, and stations, along with play counts and listening time. Apple provides a Share button for Replay insights, and certain Highlight Reel videos can be shared from iOS or Android. Replay playlists can also be shared, including to social platforms such as Instagram and Facebook. Sharing options vary by item; do not expect every monthly statistics card to offer a video.

If you want more complete Replay results for future months, enable Use Listening History on the devices you listen with and use the Apple Account associated with your Apple Music subscription. Turning it on now cannot recreate listening history that was not recorded for an earlier period.
