What Andrea Tantaros alleged about Fox News
Tantaros’s 2025 complaint says she joined Fox News in 2010 and worked as a political contributor, columnist and analyst. It also describes her radio and newspaper work. Those career details come from her own pleading.
Her complaint alleges sexual harassment and retaliation connected to her employment and says events surrounding a forthcoming book about modern-day feminism were part of the dispute. The passages reviewed do not name the book, and the complaint does not establish that its publication independently corroborates her allegations.
Fox’s position, as reported by TIME in 2016, was that the complaint was baseless and that Tantaros was taken off the air because she published a book without the network’s required approval. That is the network’s stated position, not a court finding. The court orders described below address procedural questions; they do not resolve whether the alleged harassment occurred.

Did Andrea Tantaros win her case against Fox News?
There is no final court ruling in the latest located update that confirms or vacates the arbitration award. The panel’s February 2025 award dismissed Tantaros’s claims with prejudice, but the parties then disputed whether the award was final and ready for confirmation or vacatur.
In August 2025, Judge Broderick concluded that the arbitral process was not complete and dismissed the petition before him. His order stated: “Because the arbitral process is not yet complete, Petitioner’s claims here fail.” That was a procedural ruling at that stage, not a determination that the harassment allegations were true or false.

In July 2026, the court treated Tantaros’s filings as a timely petition to vacate the February 2025 award and reserved decision on the competing petitions. It stayed the case pending the Second Circuit appeal, identified as No. 25-1980. The latest located order describes that appeal as pending; it does not establish its eventual outcome.
Other court cases are separate from the Fox arbitration
The 2025 complaint and Scott Brown
A separate 2025 complaint asserted seven categories of claims, including a New York City gender-motivated violence claim and employment and tort claims. These are allegations in a plaintiff’s pleading, not findings that the claims were established.

On March 27, 2026, the SDNY dismissed the claim against Scott Brown without prejudice, citing service and statutory issues. The court allowed the possibility of an amended claim under section 10-1104.1. The ruling did not decide whether the underlying allegations were true.
The book-collaboration contract case
A separate case concerned a 2015 agreement between Tantaros and Michael Krechmer, also known as Michael Malice, to collaborate on her book. On March 7, 2024, New York’s Appellate Division modified a summary-judgment ruling: it reinstated a counterclaim over an alleged breach of the agreement’s confidentiality provision and directed Tantaros to answer it. That contract dispute was not a decision about her allegations against Fox.
