Other options include Gyre, YTStream, and OneStream Live, but their plan units and eligibility differ. What to compare for a 24/7 prerecorded YouTube stream
A continuous prerecorded loop is not the same as staying live on camera or hosting a guest show. Cloud looping services send uploaded videos to YouTube without requiring your home computer to keep encoding and uploading. Compare services by the practical limits that shape your channel: number of simultaneous streams, resolution, storage, playlist and scheduling controls, recovery after a disconnect, and whether continuous running is included or gated behind a particular plan.
The prices below are the amounts displayed on the providers’ pages as checked October 3, 2026. Prices, promotions, and plan terms can change; recheck the checkout page before subscribing. Billing units differ, so an account plan, per-stream subscription, and add-on should not be treated as equivalent.
Services and pricing
| Service | Positioning and YouTube fit | Price and billing basis shown | Key limits or features surfaced |
|---|---|---|---|
| StreamNeo | Cloud looping for uploaded videos, with one always-on YouTube stream per slot. | Daily $0.99 per day · Weekly $2.99 per week · Monthly $9.99 per month · 6 months $49.99 for 6 months · Yearly $89.99 a year | Any quality uploaded, up to 4K 60fps; 10 GB storage per slot, pooled across active slots; playlists, 24/7 looping, and automatic recovery if YouTube drops the stream. First day free, no card. |
| Gyre | Cloud service for continuously looping prerecorded video; YouTube lists it in its encoder tools catalog as a cloud-based option for 24/7 prerecorded streaming. | Start at $49, Start+ at $99, and PRO+ at $169 on its official page. The billing period for these displayed amounts was not specified; check Gyre’s current page and checkout. | Plans differ in simultaneous streams, storage, scheduling, and HD/4K resolution. YouTube’s listing establishes category fit, not performance, monetization, or endorsement. |
| YTStream | Cloud service that sends uploaded videos in a playlist to YouTube continuously. | $19/month per 1080p stream; $39/month per 4K stream; $99/month per 8K stream. | Its page lists looping playlists and automatic restart on failure across these plans. The prices are per stream, not a general account tier. |
| OneStream Live | Cloud service for prerecorded and real-time streams; its help page describes scheduling prerecorded video and 24/7 YouTube looping. | Its pricing page advertises a $30/month 24-hour YouTube stream add-on. | Its help article, last updated September 3, 2026, says nonstop 24/7 streaming is YouTube-only and requires Enterprise. That conflicts with the pricing-page add-on language; confirm eligibility and total cost with OneStream before subscribing. |
| StreamYard | Browser studio for producing live shows, interviews, recordings, and multistreams; not established by the inspected pricing page as an automated continuous loop service. | Core: $44.99 monthly or $35.99/month billed yearly as displayed. Advanced: $88.99 monthly or $68.99/month billed yearly as displayed. The page warns prices may vary with promotions, seasonal deals, renewal terms, and custom offers. | Core lists multistreaming to 3 destinations and prerecorded streams up to 2 hours. Advanced lists up to 8 destinations and prerecorded streams up to 4 hours. |

- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
2. Gyre — compare plan capacity and controls
Gyre is a direct category match for prerecorded cloud looping, and YouTube includes it in its encoder tools page as a cloud-based 24/7 option. Its official page displays Start at $49, Start+ at $99, and PRO+ at $169, with differences in stream count, storage, scheduling, and resolution. Confirm the current billing period, included capacity, and checkout amount on Gyre’s official page before comparing it with per-stream subscriptions. Statements on the vendor page about views or audience behavior are marketing claims, not independently established outcomes.
3. YTStream — transparent per-stream quality tiers
YTStream’s listed prices are explicitly per stream and vary by resolution: $19/month at 1080p, $39/month at 4K, and $99/month at 8K. Its page lists looping playlists and automatic restart on failure for these plans. Check the plan details directly at YTStream pricing; claims about recommendation effects or channel growth should not be treated as proven results.

- 5-in-1 USB-C Hub: Experience comprehensive connectivity featuring a Power Delivery input, two USB-A 2.0 ports, a USB-A 3.0 port, and an HDMI port. (Note: The USB-C power delivery input port is only for connecting an external wall charger to power your laptop and cannot power peripheral devices.)

- What You Get: Anker USB-C Hub (5-in-1, 4K HDMI), welcome guide, 18-month warranty, and our friendly customer service.
4. OneStream Live — resolve the 24/7 plan discrepancy first
OneStream’s pricing page says a 24-hour YouTube stream add-on costs $30/month, but its 24/7 help article says the continuous feature requires Enterprise and is exclusive to YouTube. Because these pages describe materially different access conditions, ask OneStream which plan qualifies and what the complete recurring bill will be before purchase. Its help page says prerecorded videos can be uploaded from a device or cloud storage, scheduled up to 60 days ahead, and placed in a playlist. See OneStream pricing and its 24/7 YouTube streaming help article.
5. StreamYard — for produced shows, not an established 24/7 loop
StreamYard’s surfaced features suit a host-led production workflow: guests, branded layouts, recordings, and prerecorded segments with stated duration caps. The inspected pricing information does not establish unattended 24/7 playlist automation. Consider it when you need a browser studio, rather than assuming a prerecorded-stream feature means an always-on loop. Its pricing page says plan prices may vary with offers and renewal terms.

What YouTube requires before going live
Whichever service you use, YouTube’s baseline eligibility still applies. YouTube says a channel must be verified and must have had no live-streaming restrictions in the previous 90 days to enable streaming. Live streams must comply with YouTube’s Community Guidelines and Terms of Service. Review YouTube’s current live-streaming setup and eligibility guidance before scheduling a stream.
A tool listing is not a content approval or a guarantee of reach. YouTube’s encoder tools page describes Gyre as a cloud-based tool for 24/7 prerecorded live streaming and mentions Full HD and 4K output and automatic file optimization. That listing does not guarantee uptime, monetization, audience growth, or that a particular recording complies with policy. A 24/7 schedule also does not itself establish that a channel will be recommended or earn revenue.

Copyright and reused-content checks for documentary channels
Before looping a documentary, confirm that you control the necessary rights or have permission for every element that appears in it, including footage, music, narration, photographs, and archival clips. A license for one platform or use may not cover a continuous YouTube broadcast. Keep records of licenses and permissions, and review any restrictions on territory, duration, editing, or monetization.
- Do not assume that a public-domain label, Creative Commons label, or availability on another site automatically clears all embedded material or all intended uses.
- Repeatedly streaming material does not change its copyright status. A service’s ability to play a file is not a rights clearance.
- Check YouTube’s monetization policies separately from copyright permission. Permission to use content does not by itself guarantee monetization or compliance with reused-content requirements.
- Use YouTube’s copyright safety checklist as a preflight aid; it does not replace legal advice or YouTube’s own policy review.
Choose by total operating fit, not a headline price
- One stream, one resolution target: compare the total recurring amount for the actual number of simultaneous streams you need. YTStream’s listed price is per stream; a monthly account amount or add-on may cover a different scope.
- Several concurrent channels: inspect the plan’s stream limit and whether storage is included, pooled, or separately allocated. Gyre’s plans differ in stream counts and storage, while StreamNeo pools its included 10 GB per slot across active slots.
- Scheduling and playlist needs: confirm how recordings are queued, whether a schedule can be prepared in advance, and what happens when a playlist ends. OneStream documents scheduling up to 60 days ahead; do not infer the same limit for other providers.
- Recovery behavior: check what the service does when YouTube disconnects or a file fails. YTStream lists automatic restart on failure; StreamNeo lists automatic recovery if YouTube drops the stream.
- Production rather than automation: if you need guests, a live host, overlays, and several outbound destinations, a studio such as StreamYard addresses a different need from a continuous cloud loop.
