कम पावर वाले PC पर 720p/30 fps की YouTube लाइवस्ट्रीम चलाने के लिए OBS में 1280×720 आउटपुट, H.264 और 4 Mbps वीडियो बिटरेट से शुरुआत करें। यह YouTube की 240p–720p, 30 fps श्रेणी की अनुशंसित बिटरेट है—कमज़ोर PC या अस्थिर इंटरनेट पर चलने की गारंटी नहीं। पहले वास्तविक वीडियो और ऑडियो के साथ परीक्षण करें, फिर OBS के dropped-frames काउंटर और YouTube Live Control Room की stream health देखकर सेटिंग समायोजित करें।
पहले ये शर्तें जांचें
- चैनल की पात्रता: YouTube के अनुसार लाइवस्ट्रीम के लिए चैनल verified होना चाहिए और पिछले 90 दिनों में उस पर live-stream restrictions नहीं होनी चाहिए।
- वीडियो के अधिकार: केवल अपने बनाए कार्टून या ऐसी सामग्री चलाएं जिसके प्रसारण और उसमें मौजूद संगीत सहित आवश्यक अधिकार आपके पास हों।
- लगातार चलने की क्षमता: PC की CPU/GPU जानकारी और encoder support के बिना यह तय नहीं किया जा सकता कि मशीन 720p/30 को लगातार संभालेगी या नहीं। इसका उत्तर sustained test से ही मिलेगा।
- स्थिर अपलोड: अपने स्थान और सामान्य उपयोग के समय upload speed जांचें। ISP plan पर लिखी गति को लगातार उपलब्ध throughput न मानें।
YouTube लाइवस्ट्रीम को third-party copyrighted content के लिए scan करता है। पहचान होने पर warning, placeholder image, अस्थायी interruption या stream termination हो सकती है। Licensed सामग्री के मामले में भी rights owner से अपने चैनल को Content ID allowlist में जोड़ने की जरूरत पूछें। YouTube की शर्तें creator से सामग्री के आवश्यक worldwide exploitation rights, जिसमें संगीत अधिकार भी शामिल हैं, रखने की अपेक्षा करती हैं।
720p/30 के लिए OBS और YouTube सेटअप
1. YouTube से encoder stream की जानकारी लें
- YouTube Live Control Room में encoder stream बनाएं। वहां से server URL और stream key लें।
- OBS में Settings → Stream खोलें, YouTube सेवा चुनें और stream key दर्ज करें। YouTube RTMPS की सिफारिश करता है; उपलब्ध server URL और कनेक्शन विकल्पों में YouTube द्वारा दिया गया RTMPS पता इस्तेमाल करें।
- Stream key को पासवर्ड की तरह सुरक्षित रखें। इसे सार्वजनिक न करें; उजागर हो जाए तो Live Control Room से key बदलें।
2. OBS में शुरुआती वीडियो सेटिंग रखें
- Settings → Video: Output (Scaled) Resolution को 1280×720 रखें और Common FPS Values को 30 चुनें।
- Settings → Output → Streaming: Encoder में उपलब्ध H.264 encoder चुनें और Video Bitrate 4000 Kbps रखें। YouTube इस bitrate को 240p–720p at 30 fps के लिए सुझाता है।
- अगर OBS में keyframe interval का विकल्प दिखे, YouTube की encoder settings में दिए गए मौजूदा निर्देश के अनुसार उसे सेट करें। उपलब्ध स्रोतों में इस सेटिंग का कोई निश्चित मान स्थापित नहीं है, इसलिए मनमाना मान न चुनें।
- Audio bitrate को अपनी सामग्री और YouTube की encoder settings के अनुरूप रखें। उपलब्ध स्रोतों में कोई निश्चित audio bitrate नहीं दिया गया है।
4 Mbps वीडियो बिटरेट का अर्थ यह नहीं कि 4 Mbps का इंटरनेट कनेक्शन पर्याप्त होगा। ऑडियो और दूसरे नेटवर्क उपयोग के लिए भी क्षमता चाहिए, और वास्तविक कनेक्शन में उतार-चढ़ाव हो सकता है। OBS लगभग कुल upload speed के 75% को bitrate चुनने का शुरुआती बिंदु बताता है; यह स्थिरता की गारंटी नहीं है।
कनेक्शन और PC पर भार घटाकर परीक्षण करें
पहले एक प्रतिनिधि परीक्षण करें
- संभव हो तो PC को router से Ethernet cable से जोड़ें। OBS के अनुसार Wi-Fi अस्थिर हो सकता है; OBS wired connection की सिफारिश करता है।
- ऐसा परीक्षण करें जिसमें कार्टून का सामान्य motion और वास्तविक audio शामिल हो। सिर्फ स्थिर चित्र या mute scene से मिली स्थिति पूरी stream का प्रतिनिधित्व नहीं करेगी।
- OBS में dropped frames देखें और YouTube Live Control Room में stream health जांचें। कुछ समय तक निगरानी करें ताकि केवल शुरुआती सफल क्षणों के बजाय निरंतर प्रदर्शन का अंदाज़ मिले।
- दिक्कत होने पर एक बार में एक बदलाव करें और फिर वही परीक्षण दोहराएं।
किस लक्षण पर कौन-सी सेटिंग बदलें
- Dropped frames बढ़ रहे हैं: यह अस्थिर कनेक्शन या चुने हुए bitrate को बनाए न रख पाने का संकेत हो सकता है। पहले दूसरे नेटवर्क उपयोग रोकें; फिर bitrate घटाकर पुनः परीक्षण करें।
- Encoding या rendering overload दिखता है: OBS के अनुसार output resolution घटाने से encoder load कम हो सकता है, FPS घटाने से rendering और encoding दोनों का काम घटता है, और सरल scenes rendering का काम कम कर सकते हैं। 720p/30 से नीचे जाना पड़े तो स्थिर stream को प्राथमिकता दें।
- OBS में frames ठीक हैं, लेकिन YouTube health खराब है: Live Control Room की stream health देखें, server URL और key जांचें, फिर कनेक्शन और bitrate का परीक्षण करें। सिर्फ OBS preview चलने का अर्थ यह नहीं कि YouTube तक stream सही पहुंच रही है।
- PC कुछ समय बाद धीमा या बंद हो जाता है: तापमान, बिजली और सिस्टम की स्थिरता जांचें। उपलब्ध जानकारी से किसी खास PC की 24/7 क्षमता तय नहीं होती; लगातार चलाकर परीक्षण करना जरूरी है।
24/7 प्रसारण और archive की योजना अलग रखें
24 घंटे तक चलती YouTube stream को भरोसेमंद archive न मानें। YouTube 12 घंटे से कम की streams को अपने-आप archive कर सकता है; 12 घंटे से लंबी stream शायद capture ही न हो। अगर archive जरूरी है, तो 12 घंटे से छोटी sessions की योजना बनाएं और OBS की local recording को backup के तौर पर रखें। लगातार एक ही stream चलाने के बजाय sessions बदलने से key, schedule और restart प्रक्रिया भी संभालनी होगी।

भारत में बिजली और इंटरनेट लागत का व्यावहारिक हिसाब
बिना आपके PC के वास्तविक watt draw और स्थानीय बिजली tariff के रुपये प्रति दिन का ईमानदार अनुमान नहीं निकाला जा सकता। PC को सामान्य stream workload में चलाकर plug-in energy meter से steady-state खपत मापें, फिर अपने बिजली बिल की लागू दर से लागत निकालें। इसी तरह अपने इलाके में अलग-अलग समय पर upload throughput जांचें; nominal broadband speed को हर समय मिलने वाली गति न मानें।
अगर Ethernet cable खरीदने की जरूरत हो, Cat6 cable एक वैकल्पिक सहायक वस्तु है—यह केवल PC और router के बीच wired link देती है। यह ISP outage या खराब routing को ठीक नहीं करती।

समस्या आने पर यह क्रम अपनाएं
- Stream शुरू नहीं होती: चैनल verification और restrictions जांचें; OBS में सही service, RTMPS server URL और वर्तमान stream key होने की पुष्टि करें। जरूरत पड़े तो Live Control Room से नई key लेकर OBS में अपडेट करें।
- कनेक्शन टूटता या frames drop होते हैं: Ethernet आजमाएं, दूसरे अपलोड रोकें और bitrate घटाकर फिर परीक्षण करें। OBS का dropped-frames काउंटर और YouTube stream health दोनों देखें।
