Lisa Kelly did not leave trucking after *Ice Road Truckers* ended its original run. She continued driving, bought her own Peterbilt and returned to the series for season 12, according to reporting published in 2025. The latest sources available describe her work and return that year; they do not verify what she has been doing since.
Did Lisa Kelly stop trucking after *Ice Road Truckers*?
No. After the show’s original run ended in 2017, Kelly continued working as a truck driver. Sky HISTORY reported that she bought her own truck and drove Alaska’s Dalton Highway. The HISTORY Channel’s cast biography identifies her truck as a Peterbilt 389 and says she was growing her business and brand. Those profiles describe her work at the time they were published, not necessarily her present-day arrangements.

In an Overdrive Radio listing published in October 2025, Kelly was reported to have bought a 2019 Peterbilt 389 and leased on with a company to work the Dalton Highway. That model year and work arrangement are reported details, not confirmation of her current truck or employer.
Did Lisa Kelly return to *Ice Road Truckers*?
Yes. Heavy Duty Trucking reported in December 2025 that Kelly returned for season 12 after an eight-year hiatus. The publication’s interviews also discuss the demands of owner-operator work, including repairs and chaining in severe weather. The reports establish her return for that season; they do not establish that the show is currently airing or that another season has been ordered.
