Jana Duggar and Stephen Wissmann’s Nebraska home looks substantially different from the fixer-upper shown in an earlier tour. In an Oct. 15, 2025 report, Parade described a YouTube before-and-after reveal with lighter flooring, a brightened kitchen and a furnished living room. The couple had shown the house at an earlier renovation stage in 2024, so the two accounts capture different points in the project.
What changed in the home reveal
Parade’s 2025 account contrasts the home’s earlier dark wood floors and off-white walls with lighter, cream-colored wood flooring. In the kitchen, it describes white countertops and cabinets. The living room, which had been shown during the earlier fixer-upper period, was furnished in the later reveal.
The report also says the couple worked on kitchen and garage improvements. It mentions a pantry door and a shoe-rack wall in the garage, and reports that Jana installed insulation on the garage door. It does not identify the insulation brand or model.
How the 2024 tour differs from the 2025 update
Us Weekly’s Aug. 29, 2024 coverage documented an earlier stage, when the couple were getting the fixer-upper ready. The house was described as a two-story Nebraska home with five bedrooms, full bathrooms upstairs and downstairs, a living and dining room, a kitchen, a basement, and a utility and laundry room.
