National French Fry Day fell on Friday, July 11, 2025. Several chains offered fries promotions, but the deals had different purchase, ordering, account and location requirements. They were limited-time offers and have expired; this is a guide to what was reported for that date, not a list of current deals.
What free fries deals were available on July 11, 2025?
AARP’s July 10, 2025 roundup reported promotions from McDonald’s, Burger King, Wendy’s and Arby’s, among other chains. Requirements varied, and the roundup is secondary reporting; it does not establish exact terms for every offer. Its examples are not necessarily a complete list. McDonald’s corporate story also identified the event date as July 11, 2025. The date and the promotions below are historical: none should be assumed redeemable now.

Shake Shack’s official promotion terms make clear that “free” meant an additional purchase was required, as well as an eligible channel and fulfillment date. Fatburger’s July 7 announcement likewise specified a qualifying food purchase and online code.

Can you still claim these deals?
No. The promotions described were tied to July 2025 dates, and National French Fry Day 2025 was July 11. They are not current offers. A past promotion or roundup is not evidence that the same deal is available in a later year.
