What Taylor Swift announced on New Heights
In a preview for the episode, Swift showed hosts Jason and Travis Kelce a mint-green briefcase bearing her initials. She took out a vinyl record and announced, “This is my brand new album, ‘The Life of a Showgirl,’” according to the Associated Press (AP’s report).
The appearance therefore revealed the album’s title; it was more than a teaser suggesting that an unnamed album might be coming. Swift said, “This is the record I’ve been wanting to make for a very long time,” as reported by CBS News.
