How did the finale reach the Final Three?
The endgame began with Fraser, Kamilla Karthigesu, Joe Hunter and Eva Erickson at the Final Four. Fraser won the Final Four challenge, securing a place in the Final Three without competing in fire-making. Eva then beat Kamilla in the fire-making challenge, joining Fraser and Joe at the end.
What happened in the Survivor 48 finale?
Episode 13 was titled “Only One of Yous Can Win” and aired May 21, 2025. CBS lists the episode runtime as 129 minutes. That is distinct from the three-hour broadcast window, 8:00–11:00 p.m. ET/PT, which also included the After Show hosted by Jeff Probst. CBS’s preview described a comeback challenge win for a Final Four place, followed by the fire-making showdown that set the Final Three.

Why did the jury choose Fraser?
The finale’s central challenge for Fraser was making his individual game legible after playing alongside Kamilla. TV Insider described Joe and Eva as a long-running public alliance, while Fraser and Kamilla worked together more quietly to influence decisions. Once Kamilla lost at fire, Fraser had to distinguish his own choices from the partnership.
In a post-finale interview with TVLine, Fraser discussed the David vote, managing information, Kamilla’s extra vote, his relationships, and his challenge and idol record. These are Fraser’s retrospective explanations of his game, rather than an independent audit of every move. He told TVLine: “I knew that I made my case and I owned my game, and I’m really proud of the way that I did that.”
Where can you watch the finale?
