It was a comic splice, not footage of Swift reacting to Jackson: she attended the game to support Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.
What was the Ravens–Taylor Swift fan edit?
The edit was reported as a post by the TikTok account nflmemes_tiktok on Saturday, January 27, 2024, ahead of the Ravens–Chiefs AFC Championship in Baltimore. It combined footage of Swift with footage of Lamar Jackson to make the playoff matchup part of a joke.
According to Yahoo/People’s January 28, 2024 report, the video opened with Swift, Brittany Mahomes and others celebrating the Chiefs. A football-booted foot appears, then Swift looks worried during a Chiefs game. The edit cuts to Jackson entering the field, using quick cuts and a change in music to imply that Swift is concerned about Baltimore.
The report said the edit first used “Style (Taylor’s Version)” and later switched to Metro Boomin’s “Superhero” over Jackson’s entrance. It ended with an excerpt from Jackson’s 2018 NFL Draft interview, when he was selected 32nd. The report reproduced the caption as “In Captain Lamerica we trust 🫡” and quoted Jackson saying, “I’m looking forward to being a Raven,” before predicting the team would get a Super Bowl from him.

Those details describe the edit as reported at the time; the sequence should not be mistaken for a real interaction or reaction by Swift.
Did Taylor Swift attend the game?
Yes. Swift attended the January 28, 2024 AFC Championship at M&T Bank Stadium to cheer for Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs. She was not there to support the Ravens. Axios’s Baltimore coverage confirms her attendance and the circulation of a Swift-themed Ravens fan edit on TikTok.

The Ravens lost to Kansas City, which advanced to Super Bowl LVIII. The edit’s imagined Swift-versus-Jackson reaction was fan humor; the real stakes were a playoff game between the teams.
How viral was the clip?
Yahoo/People reported that by Sunday morning, January 28, 2024, the video had 1.4 million likes and more than 9 million views. That is a contemporaneous snapshot reported at the time, not a current TikTok count, and it was not independently verified for this article.

Why was the Swift angle part of the buildup?
Swift’s support for Kelce brought national attention to Chiefs games, while the Ravens’ playoff run gave Baltimore fans a reason to turn that attention into local rivalry humor. The Ravens also leaned into a comic local counterpoint before kickoff: in a January 23 team article, the club featured Baltimore native and comedian Stavros Halkias, whose Ravens-superfan character is Ronnie. Halkias said the team’s staff had “such a great sense of humor” and had been “so cool to work with.” The Ravens’ article framed the exchange as playful social-media banter, not a serious dispute with Swift.
