Angie Harmon has three daughters with former NFL player Jason Sehorn: Finley, Avery and Emery. Public reporting offers a few dated snapshots of their ages and some of Harmon’s comments about raising them, but it does not establish their exact ages today. Because the family has asked for privacy, the public record is best treated as a limited family portrait rather than a current account of the daughters’ private lives.

Who are Angie Harmon’s daughters?

Harmon and Sehorn’s daughters are Finley, Avery and Emery. An Associated Press birth announcement published by 6abc on December 19, 2008, identified the youngest as Emery Hope Sehorn and reported that she was born on December 18. The announcement described Finley as 5 and Avery as 3 at that time; those were ages reported then, not exact birth dates.

What is publicly known about their ages?

Published ages should be read as snapshots from their publication dates, not as current ages. The reports also disagree about Emery’s age in 2023, so the figures are best kept separate rather than reconciled without further evidence.

Report date and source Ages reported Context
December 19, 2008, Associated Press report carried by 6abc Finley, 5; Avery, 3 Contemporaneous ages in the announcement of Emery’s birth.
February 1, 2014, ABC News Finley, 10; Avery, 8; Emery, 5 A dated family snapshot in an interview about Avery’s interest in football.
February 27, 2023, Charlotte Magazine Finley, 19; Avery, 17; Emery, 14 Ages reported in a profile of Harmon.
December 6, 2023, People interview republished by Yahoo Finley, 20; Avery, 18; Emery, 14 A separate interview snapshot; it differs from the February report on Emery’s age. It also said Finley had moved into her first apartment in Dallas.

These reports do not establish the daughters’ exact current ages as of October 4, 2026. Nor do they provide a complete current account of their education, work or other private details.

What has Harmon shared about raising her daughters?

Choosing Charlotte

In a February 2023 Charlotte Magazine interview, Harmon said she moved her family to Charlotte in 2010 because she wanted her daughters to grow up away from the pace of Hollywood. She explained, “I didn’t want to raise my daughters in L.A. or New York because it was too much, too fast, too hard.”

Conversations about hurtful behavior and social media

In that same interview, Harmon discussed teaching her daughters that mean-girl behavior can reflect insecurity. She also described talking with them about social media, images and body validation as they grew older. These are her comments in that 2023 conversation, not a comprehensive account of the family’s private life.

Avery’s childhood football anecdote

In a February 2014 ABC News interview, Harmon described Avery as athletic and interested in football. She recalled that Avery carried a lime-green Nerf football in her backpack and said Sehorn was teaching her to throw a spiral. Harmon said, “She carries a football in her backpack, one of those Nerf ones and it’s lime green and it’s so cool!” This is a childhood anecdote from 2014, not evidence of Avery’s present-day interests.

A planned UNICEF trip

A 2011 People report said Harmon planned to take the family to India with UNICEF. Harmon explained that she wanted to build her children’s awareness of people who lacked a home, running water or food. The report documents her stated intention at the time; it does not establish the family’s current travel or activities.

Harmon and Sehorn’s separation

ABC News reported on November 3, 2014, that Harmon and Sehorn were separating after 13 years of marriage. The report said they had three daughters and relayed a representative’s statement asking that the children be given respect and privacy as the family navigated the change. That request is a useful boundary for coverage: public interviews offer selected details, not an invitation to speculate about the daughters.
