Vanderpump Rules’ Ariana Madix and Katie Maloney Share a Something About Her Update

Something About Her, the West Hollywood sandwich shop co-owned by Vanderpump Rules stars Ariana Madix and Katie Maloney, was still being discussed as an operating business in reporting through May 2026. In a March update, Maloney said the shop had developed online ordering and was working to grow catering. Those developments followed a delayed opening and early operational adjustments; separate legal disputes involving the partners should not be mistaken for evidence that the restaurant closed.

What is the latest update on Something About Her?

In a March 13, 2026 appearance on the Gabbing with Gib podcast, Maloney said the business was going well. Bravo’s March 18 account of the interview reported that the shop had worked out its preparation schedule and developed online ordering. Maloney also described efforts to grow catering and offer limited sandwich runs. Her comments indicate that catering was being developed, not that a full catering service or expanded menu was definitively available.

Maloney said the shop had repeat customers in the West Hollywood neighborhood, describing a “really wonderful community.” She also characterized the early months as extremely busy and the first year as educational. These are her qualitative observations; the reporting does not provide sales, revenue, or customer-count figures.

Is the shop still open?

The latest detailed operational account in the cited coverage described Something About Her as operating, and Bravo covered its second anniversary in May 2026. That establishes a public business milestone, but the available reporting does not confirm the shop’s exact hours or status on October 4, 2026. Check the shop’s current official listing before planning a visit.

How did the shop get from its delayed opening to online orders?

Opening after construction and permit delays

Something About Her opened in West Hollywood in May 2024, after a lengthy development period. Bravo’s opening coverage described construction and permit challenges as well as staffing changes. Those opening difficulties explain the delay; they are not evidence that the shop later closed.

Adjusting the operation

By Maloney’s March 2026 account, the partners had learned more about preparing for service and had developed online ordering. Limited sandwich runs and catering were among the operating plans she discussed. In May 2026, Bravo marked the shop’s second anniversary and reported the partners’ public thanks to staff and customers.

What happened with the former chef’s lawsuit?

Us Weekly reported on October 10, 2025, that former chef Penny Davidi notified the court she was dismissing all claims in her lawsuit against Madix and Maloney, subject to conditions whose details were not public in that report. A trial had been scheduled for March 2026. The report describes a dismissal notice, not a court decision resolving the disputed allegations.

Is Rachel Leviss’s case connected to the restaurant?

No. Rachel Leviss’s case against Madix is a separate legal matter, not a dispute involving Something About Her. In August 2026, the California Court of Appeal affirmed the denial of Madix’s anti-SLAPP motion. The opinion addressed that threshold motion and expressly did not decide whether the allegations were true or whether Leviss would ultimately prevail. It should not be presented as a finding about the sandwich shop or its operations.
