For a continuous prerecorded YouTube loop with playlists and scheduling, Gyre’s published plans are the clearer fit—but those features appear on Start+ and PRO+, not Start. OneStream Live is the stronger candidate when you need advance scheduling or distribution to many destinations. Its published information conflicts about what a 24-hour YouTube stream costs and which plan includes it, so confirm eligibility and the full price with OneStream before subscribing. These are vendor-published capabilities and plan terms, not results from hands-on testing.

| Playlists and scheduling | Describes playlist sequencing and prerecorded broadcasts schedulable up to 60 days ahead. | Lists playlists and scheduling on the trial, Start+, and PRO+; neither appears in the Start plan’s pricing summary. | OneStream describes longer-range advance scheduling. The vendor describes reach across more than 45 platforms. | Its pricing page lists YouTube, Twitch, Facebook, Instagram, X, Kick, and MixCloud. | OneStream lists higher destination counts; confirm that the specific integrations you need are supported on your account and plan. |

How OneStream Live handles prerecorded streams
OneStream describes a cloud workflow for scheduling prerecorded videos, arranging playlists, and streaming to multiple destinations. Its help material says you can schedule prerecorded broadcasts up to 60 days ahead. The dedicated 24/7 help article describes continuous streaming to YouTube for up to 30 days and says Enterprise is required. However, OneStream’s pricing page also advertises a $30/month 24-hour-stream add-on. Those statements leave it unclear whether the add-on is available on other plans or is charged in addition to a subscription.
The OneStream pricing page lists Basic at $15/month, Standard at $39/month, Professional at $49/month, and Enterprise at $139/month. It also lists a $30/month 24-hour-stream add-on. These are the page’s displayed amounts observed on October 3, 2026, not a verified checkout total. Before committing to a continuous stream, ask OneStream which plan is required, whether the add-on is available to your account, and whether its cost is additional to the subscription.

How Gyre handles prerecorded streams
Gyre describes uploading videos, arranging them into a playlist, connecting a destination, and running a scheduled or continuous stream from the cloud. Its pricing page lists a seven-day trial, then Start at $49/month, Start+ at $99/month, and PRO+ at $169/month. The trial is listed with one HD stream, 20 GB of storage, a 15-file cap, playlists, and scheduling. Start lists one HD stream and 35 GB but does not list playlists or scheduling. Start+ lists four HD or one 4K stream, 75 GB, playlists, and scheduling; PRO+ lists eight HD or two 4K streams, 150 GB, playlists, and scheduling.
These are Gyre’s displayed plan terms observed on October 3, 2026, not a guaranteed checkout quote. Its home page also makes promotional claims about performance and revenue; those claims are not independent evidence that the service will increase a channel’s audience or income.

What the cloud workflow means for your setup
Both services describe cloud-hosted workflows for prerecorded content, so the documented paths do not establish that you need to leave a dedicated computer running at home. YouTube separately documents encoder-based streaming, which is a different setup path—not a reason by itself to buy an encoder or streaming PC when choosing between these services.
Before starting a prerecorded live stream, make sure you have the rights to the video and audio and that your planned use complies with YouTube’s rules. A tool that loops or schedules a file does not grant permission to broadcast it. YouTube’s encoder setup guidance is available in its Create a YouTube live stream with an encoder help article.

What to verify before subscribing
- Ask OneStream to confirm in writing the plan required for a 24-hour YouTube stream, whether its advertised add-on is available to you, and the complete recurring charge.
- Confirm that the plan includes your intended destinations, resolution, concurrent stream count, storage, and playlist or scheduling features.
- Check the vendors’ current checkout pages for price, trial conditions, and limits; plan terms and pricing may change.
- Estimate your library’s total storage needs, and for Gyre’s trial account for the listed 15-file limit.
- Use content you have permission to broadcast and review YouTube’s applicable rules before scheduling a loop.
A third option: StreamNeo for an always-on YouTube loop
If the priority is keeping prerecorded video live on YouTube rather than comparing these two services’ feature sets, StreamNeo is another cloud option: upload a recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key once, and go live. The cloud keeps the loop running without a computer, OBS, or home connection staying on. Each slot streams the upload as made, up to 4K 60fps, at one flat price per slot; StreamNeo also lists automatic recovery if YouTube drops the stream. The first day is free with no card, one free day per account. The same product is on every plan; only the billing length changes. Monthly: $9.99 per month. It streams to YouTube only. See StreamNeo for details, or start the free day.
