To set up a 24/7 YouTube stream with Livepush, upload your prerecorded videos, place them in a looping playlist, connect your verified YouTube channel, and launch a prerecorded live event. Livepush’s current help pages identify the Creators plan as the plan that includes a 24/7 schedule channel; check its current price and features before subscribing.
Choose a cloud playlist or a computer-based stream
Livepush’s cloud workflow sends uploaded video to YouTube, so your own computer does not need to encode and transmit the broadcast continuously. A self-hosted setup using an encoder such as OBS gives you direct control of the encoding and avoids a streaming-service subscription, but it depends on a running computer, power, a stable internet connection, and ongoing maintenance. You also need enough local upload bandwidth for the stream.
Livepush describes its service as reducing the hardware and maintenance burden; those reliability and automation claims come from Livepush, not independent testing. Choose the cloud route if you want to schedule and loop uploaded recordings without keeping a computer on. Choose a local encoder if control over the encoding and willingness to maintain the equipment matter more.
Check YouTube eligibility before preparing the broadcast
- YouTube says a channel must be verified and must not have had a live-streaming restriction in the preceding 90 days.
- The person streaming must be at least 16 years old.
- Livepush’s connection guide says first-time live-stream activation may take up to 24 hours. Enable streaming ahead of the day you intend to launch.
See YouTube’s live-streaming eligibility guidance and Livepush’s YouTube connection guide for the current requirements and connection details.

Choose the Livepush plan with a 24/7 schedule channel
Livepush’s help center, accessed October 3, 2026, names Creators as its least expensive social-streaming plan with a 24/7 schedule channel. It lists the plan at $39 per month or $32.50 per month when billed annually. The same help center lists 20 GB of video storage. These are Livepush plan details and may change; verify them on the Livepush pricing page before purchase. The reviewed plan information does not establish that Free or Pro includes the 24/7 schedule feature.
For one YouTube channel, the number of other destinations in the plan is not necessary to complete this setup. Livepush pages differ on that allowance, so confirm directly if you need more than one destination per platform.

Prepare and upload documentary videos
Check your files
Livepush’s setup guide recommends MP4 files with H.264 video and AAC audio, 1920×1080 resolution at 30 FPS, and a constant bitrate around 4,000–6,000 Kbps. These are vendor recommendations, not universal YouTube requirements; 720p is also described by Livepush as acceptable for smaller channels. Choose settings suited to your footage and intended viewing quality, and make sure the total uploads fit within your plan’s storage allowance.
Before uploading, confirm that each recording has the intended audio, complete opening and ending, and no unwanted black frames or private material. For documentaries, also review titles, captions, credits, and any embedded third-party footage or music for rights and accuracy.

Upload to Livepush
- Sign in to Livepush and open the dashboard’s upload area.
- Upload the prepared video files and wait for processing to finish before building the playlist.
- Check that every intended recording appears and is playable in the account.
See Livepush’s guide to streaming prerecorded video on YouTube for its described workflow.
Build and loop the playlist
- In the Livepush dashboard, create a playlist and add the processed videos.
- Arrange the videos in the order in which you want them to play.
- Turn on Loop Playlist. Livepush says the playlist starts again when it reaches the end.
- Review the order and playback before scheduling or launching the stream.
Livepush says a playlist can be edited while it is running and that changes take effect at a subsequent video transition. Treat that as Livepush’s stated behavior, and check the playlist after making an edit rather than assuming a change interrupts the currently playing video.

Connect YouTube and configure the live event
- In Livepush, open Destinations and add YouTube.
- Authorize the Google/YouTube account that owns the channel. Select the correct channel when prompted.
- Create a new live event or select an existing event if that is appropriate for your broadcast.
- Enter the event title and description, and choose its privacy setting. Confirm these details before saving.
- Save the destination and enable it for the broadcast.
Livepush’s documented account-linked connection route retrieves the RTMP settings for you. Its steps and current interface are described in the Livepush YouTube connection guide. Make sure the destination is linked to the intended channel and event before going live.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Launch the prerecorded event and verify it
- Create a prerecorded event in Livepush.
- Select the looping playlist you prepared.
- Set the start time, checking the time and time zone if you schedule it for later.
- Use Go Live to start the broadcast.
- Check the event in YouTube Studio or on the channel to confirm that the intended title, privacy setting, and video feed are present.
Livepush says it monitors connection issues and automatically restarts a stream when needed. That is a vendor claim; no recovery time or independent reliability measurement is established here. Keep an eye on the initial launch and confirm the YouTube event is receiving the feed.

Understand the 12-hour archive limit for a continuous broadcast
YouTube says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived. A single uninterrupted 24/7 broadcast is longer than that, so do not assume that YouTube will provide one complete replay of the entire run. Livepush says its 24/7 setup creates a new stream session to continue beyond YouTube’s 12-hour limit; that describes Livepush’s stated continuity approach, not a YouTube guarantee. See YouTube’s live-stream archive guidance.
Protect documentary rights and follow YouTube policies
YouTube requires livestream content to comply with its Community Guidelines and Terms of Service. Only stream documentaries, archive footage, music, narration, photographs, and other material that you own or are licensed to rebroadcast. Permission to upload or loop a video in Livepush does not grant rights to third-party content inside it.
Do not treat continuous streaming as a shortcut to monetization. YouTube says YouTube Partner Program members can monetize a live stream, but streaming continuously by itself does not establish eligibility for the program, ad revenue, or watch-hour credit. Consult YouTube’s Partner Program eligibility information and live-streaming policies for applicable rules.
