Yes—but not as a universal YouTube TV promotion. The latest verified listing, dated August 16, 2026, shows eligible new YouTube TV customers with qualifying Verizon mobile or home-internet service paying $62.99 per month for six months. That is $20 below the currently listed $82.99 standard rate, for $120 in savings before taxes and add-ons. After the sixth discounted month, recurring billing changes to the then-current standard price unless you cancel.
The older deal implied by this headline—a $69.99 price ending March 31, 2025—has expired.
Which YouTube TV offers are actually available?
The six-month price is tied to Verizon eligibility. It should not be confused with YouTube TV’s separate public promotions.
| Offer | Price and duration | Who can use it | What happens afterward |
|---|---|---|---|
| Verizon YouTube TV benefit | $62.99/month for six months | Eligible new YouTube TV customers with qualifying Verizon mobile or home-internet service | Then the in-market standard rate, currently listed as $82.99/month |
| General YouTube TV promotion | $67.99/month for three months | Eligible new users | $82.99/month afterward; the listed August 26, 2026 deadline has passed |
| Sports Plan promotion | $54.99/month for 12 months | Eligible new users | $64.99/month afterward; the listed August 26, 2026 deadline has passed |
| Historical 2025 promotion | $69.99/month for six months | Historical offer only | Expired March 31, 2025 |
Because the general three-month and Sports Plan deadlines were August 26, 2026, do not assume they remain available on October 1. Check the checkout page for the current terms.

Who qualifies for the Verizon six-month discount?
- You must be a new YouTube TV customer under Verizon’s offer.
- You need an eligible Verizon mobile or home-internet line. Verizon does not say that every Verizon plan qualifies.
- You need a Google account and a valid payment method.
- Existing subscribers should not expect eligibility. A previous subscription or free trial may also affect whether YouTube TV treats you as a new user; verify the offer terms during checkout at YouTube TV’s offer-terms page.
- The offer is for U.S. customers. Local-channel availability varies by market, so enter your ZIP code before subscribing.
The advertised price can exclude taxes and any optional services such as premium networks, 4K Plus or sports add-ons.
How to activate the Verizon offer
- Sign in to your My Verizon account.
- Open the eligible entertainment or plan-benefit section and locate the YouTube TV offer.
- Start enrollment from Verizon rather than signing up directly on YouTube TV.
- Link or create the Google account you want to use for the household’s YouTube TV membership.
- Accept YouTube TV’s terms and complete the activation control. Verizon says the subscription is not active merely because the offer appears in My Verizon.
- Check the confirmation screen or email. It should show $62.99 per month and the six-month promotional duration.
- Write down the date of the first full-price billing cycle and set a reminder several days beforehand.
Activating with the wrong Google account can make household management difficult. Also check whether billing is direct through YouTube TV or handled by a third-party platform, since account controls and offer availability can differ.

What will you actually pay?
These totals use the prices listed on August 16, 2026 and exclude taxes and optional add-ons.
| Scenario | Calculation | Total |
|---|---|---|
| Six discounted months | $62.99 × 6 | $377.94 |
| Six months at the listed standard rate | $82.99 × 6 | $497.94 |
| Promotional savings | $497.94 − $377.94 | $120 |
The $120 saving assumes all six months are billed at $62.99. It is a temporary monthly discount, not six months free and not a permanent price lock.

What happens after the sixth month?
YouTube TV bills on a recurring basis. Verizon’s terms say billing moves to the then-current in-market standard rate after the promotional period; the $82.99 figure is the rate listed when the offer was checked and can change. Cancellation is available, but Verizon states that partial billing periods are not refunded.
Cancel before the first full-price renewal if you do not want to continue. A reminder is safer than relying on a search-result snippet or an old deal article. If you cancel or change the Verizon line that qualified you, do not assume the YouTube TV benefit will continue unchanged; confirm the effect with Verizon’s current terms.

What does the subscription include?
The main plan is advertised with more than 100 live channels, unlimited DVR storage, six household accounts and three simultaneous streams. It also supports features such as multiview, pause, rewind and fast-forward, although channel and feature availability can vary. Use YouTube TV’s ZIP-code check to confirm local affiliates in your market; a national “100+ channels” count does not guarantee identical local coverage.
Consider whether you need live local news, sports and entertainment channels. If you mainly watch on-demand programs, an antenna combined with on-demand services may cost less. Sports viewers should verify that the games they care about are included or budget separately for packages such as NFL Sunday Ticket and other add-ons.

Is the Verizon deal worth pursuing?
It is most compelling when you already have Verizon
An existing eligible Verizon customer who already wants live TV receives the full $120 discount without adding a telecom plan solely for streaming. The value is strongest if you expect to use YouTube TV for at least the six discounted months and can tolerate the post-promotion rate.
Do not add Verizon only for the streaming discount without doing the math
Someone considering Verizon solely to save $20 per month on YouTube TV should compare the total Verizon bill, taxes, equipment, commitments and service value. The discount does not automatically outweigh the cost of a mobile or home-internet plan.
Non-Verizon customers need a current alternative
The general $67.99 three-month promotion was listed to end August 26, 2026, so its availability must be confirmed at signup. Do not describe it as a six-month offer. Targeted promotions referenced through Google TV or Best Buy may require a valid code, a qualifying television purchase or membership and should not be treated as universally available.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Signing up directly with YouTube TV and expecting Verizon’s price to attach automatically.
- Assuming every Verizon customer qualifies.
- Using a Google account associated with an existing YouTube TV subscription or trial.
- Treating $62.99 as a permanent rate.
- Forgetting that the first renewal after six discounted months can be at the full, then-current price.
- Ignoring taxes, premium channels, 4K Plus or sports packages.
- Assuming local channels are identical nationwide.
- Relying on the March 2025 article or another expired promotion.
Bottom line
The current six-month YouTube TV discount is a Verizon-specific benefit: eligible new customers pay $62.99 per month for six months, saving $120 before taxes compared with the listed $82.99 rate. Start in My Verizon, finish the YouTube TV account-linking process, verify the promotional price in writing and schedule a cancellation reminder before full-price billing begins. If you do not already want qualifying Verizon service, compare the complete telecom cost rather than chasing the streaming discount alone.
