What to watch after the film: Jaws @ 50
For production history and legacy, the natural follow-up is Jaws @ 50: The Definitive Inside Story. It is a separate documentary, not another cut of Spielberg’s feature film. National Geographic describes it as an authorized production made with Steven Spielberg’s Amblin Documentaries, Nedland Films, and Wendy Benchley, directed by Laurent Bouzereau.
The documentary features interviews with Spielberg, members of the original production, filmmakers, shark scientists, and conservationists. National Geographic announced its television premiere for July 10, 2025, followed by streaming on Disney+ and Hulu the next day. A U.S. JustWatch check dated August 11, 2026 listed it on Disney+, fuboTV, and YouTube TV, along with an ad-supported National Geographic option.
