Readers trying to recreate the overall styling can look for gold body chain accessories, but that does not mean the exact Logan Hollowell piece is available through ordinary retail channels. The visual was provocative, but the editorial significance extended beyond the amount of skin shown. Hayek told Sports Illustrated that she had admired the Swimsuit Issue when she was young but never imagined appearing in it because she did not see herself as matching the conventional image of a swimsuit model.
