PopularMMOs’ main YouTube channel is still online, but its long silence has left fans looking for answers. The latest currently indexed upload, Police Dog Attacked Me While Asleep In My Bed, was published on October 17, 2025. As of August 7, 2026, that is roughly 294 days without another main-channel video.
The evidence points to an extended hiatus—not a confirmed retirement, channel deletion or permanent disappearance. Before that silence began, Patrick Julianelle, known online as PopularMMOs, posted four unusually personal videos about sobriety, arrest-related events and his recovery.
What happened to PopularMMOs?
PopularMMOs’ channel, identified on YouTube as @PopularMMOs, remains available and describes itself as a Minecraft-gaming channel. A third-party tracker listed approximately 17.5 million subscribers, 4,692 videos and 14.85 billion views on August 6, 2026, although those figures are estimates and can change.

The four-video return in 2025
The silence followed a short return in September and October 2025. Rather than resuming the Minecraft videos that made the channel famous, Julianelle used the uploads to discuss difficult personal experiences.

The last of those videos is the latest upload currently listed in the channel’s indexed archive. Nothing in that sequence confirms that a regular Minecraft production schedule resumed. In fact, all four videos were personal updates rather than episodes in the old Minecraft format.
Why fans are worried
PopularMMOs once built its audience through frequent Minecraft content, so the contrast with the current gaps is striking. The channel’s upload history shows regular activity through 2021, followed by longer pauses and occasional personal videos.

Fans have responded by asking whether Julianelle is safe, recovering or planning to return. A May 2026 discussion on the PopularMMOs subreddit specifically sought an update and included speculation about his future.

The background to the recent personal videos
Julianelle’s recent uploads came after a series of legal and personal difficulties. According to a November 2024 report by Dexerto, based on court documents, he pleaded guilty to assaulting a police officer. The sentence included 12 months of probation, 100 hours of community service, an apology letter and a $1,000 donation to a police memorial fund.

In May 2025, body-camera footage from the incident was released. Dexerto reported that officers had initially approached Julianelle during a wellness check and that a later warrant involved an alleged probation violation.
His September 2025 video described him as sober and returning after difficult years. That is Julianelle’s own public account. It does not independently establish how long his sobriety had lasted or whether it continued after the four videos.
