Elle is a worldwide lifestyle magazine that focuses on fashion, beauty, health, and entertainment. It was founded in 1945, and has since has shaped the trends in fashion, beauty, and health. Being of French origin, the name is translated to French to “She” or “Her”.

In the latest documentary, Elle pays tribute to a marginalized group we rarely mention in beauty trends, drag queens.

A lot of the new trends you see on Instagram are basically a copy of something drag queens introduced. And to be honest, is there someone better and more suited to give you beauty tip and tricks than peopl who transform themselves into flawless queens every single day?

From dramatic contours popularized by Kim Kardashian, to creative eyebrows and highlighter, many of the trends you see nowadays on Instragram stemmed from drag queens. After all, they are the people who do makeup best.
