This technology is still in development, evaluation, and testing phase, but it could significantly help the world in the fight against Covid-19 pandemic.

One of the biggest challenges right now is quick testing and results of patients. The classic serum test takes about 20 minutes to deliver results.

The AI imagine CT scan can finish the same job for 20 seconds with almost 96% accuracy. These machines are experimentally now in Luxemburg, where they will scan about 40 patients per day.

The main benefit of the technology is that doctors can detect the presence of the virus in its early phase. How does it work? AI imaging tool studies thousands of CT scans and creates an algorithm. The algorithm can then read the image in less than 20 seconds and detect if there is presence of Covid-19 virus.
