Disney+ began streaming the film on March 11, 2026. Catalogs can vary by country, so viewers outside the United States should check the Disney+ service available in their territory.
Disney Japan lists a May 20, 2026 Blu-ray/DVD home-video date. That is a Japan-market listing, not a universal worldwide release date. Before buying an imported disc, check the seller’s marketplace, audio and subtitle languages, disc region and whether the package contains Blu-ray, DVD or both.

The “Partners in Crisis” setup
The official trailer shows Chief Bogo ordering Judy and Nick into a “Partners in Crisis” counseling program. That counseling assignment gives the police mystery a second track: the pair must work out how to function together while they pursue Gary.

The principal cast combines the original leads with new characters introduced in the sequel.

Streaming
The film’s Disney+ streaming release began on March 11, 2026. A Disney+ subscription and an eligible catalog in your country are required; availability, dubbing and subtitles may differ by territory.
Physical copies
Disney Japan’s listing gives May 20, 2026 for Blu-ray/DVD-related home-video availability. Because that date comes from the Japanese Disney site, it should be treated as a Japan-market date. A disc purchased from another region may have different timing, packaging, language options or playback compatibility.
Theatrical availability
The U.S. theatrical run started November 26, 2025. Local theatrical availability is now dependent on individual markets and cinemas rather than a new global opening.
