Yes. On June 29, 2024, during Zach Bryan’s Quittin Time Tour show at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee, Bryan brought Hailey Welch, widely known as the “Hawk Tuah” girl, onstage for the “Revival” encore. She sang background vocals and ended her appearance by shouting her viral catchphrase to the crowd.
What happened on stage
Welch joined Bryan and his band at the end of the show, during the encore. JamBase’s setlist recap dates the concert to June 29, 2024 and names “Revival” as the encore song. Complex and JamBase both report that she sang along or supplied background vocals, then called out “hawk tuah” to the audience. Hindustan Times described loud crowd cheers and said she moved to the microphone to shout the phrase.
Her appearance was not the earlier Kacey Musgraves duet in the set. It was a separate moment at the close of the performance.
Why Welch was known to the crowd
Welch’s fame at the time came from a viral street interview. Complex identifies it as a Nashville interview by the content creators Tim and Dee TV. The exchange was sexually explicit, and the catchphrase came from her answer in that clip. Complex’s published transcription is the most complete text of the exchange; this article does not reproduce it.
