The clearest ongoing connection to Young Sheldon is Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage, the CBS sequel led by Montana Jordan and Emily Osment. CBS lists the sequel’s second-season finale for May 21, 2026, and advertised its third-season premiere for October 8, 2026. The rest of the cast has taken different paths, so updates below are tied to dated sources rather than treated as a single, uniform reunion.
Who played the Cooper family in Young Sheldon?
Young Sheldon is a spin-off of The Big Bang Theory. Iain Armitage plays young Sheldon Cooper, while Jim Parsons voices the adult Sheldon who narrates the story. The central family includes Zoe Perry as Mary, Montana Jordan as Georgie, Raegan Revord as Missy, Lance Barber as George Cooper Sr., and Annie Potts as Meemaw.

Netflix Tudum identifies the principal roles and the series’ connection to The Big Bang Theory; Paramount Press Express’s cast listing also identifies the original ensemble.
Montana Jordan and Emily Osment continue the story in the sequel
Jordan returns as Georgie and Osment as Mandy in Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage. CBS describes the follow-up as focusing on the couple raising their young family while navigating adulthood, parenting, and marriage. It is the most direct continuation for members of the original cast.

CBS’s episode guide records the second-season finale on May 21, 2026. A CBS notice dated September 10, 2026, advertised the third-season premiere for October 8, 2026—still in the future as of October 4, 2026. Those are network-listed dates, not confirmation here that the premiere has already aired.
Iain Armitage and Jim Parsons appeared together in a final-season segment
Paramount+ lists a Sunday Morning segment about Young Sheldon’s final season featuring Armitage, Parsons, and executive producers Steve Molaro and Steve Holland. That listing documents an interview appearance; it does not establish a new acting project for either performer. The available official information cited here does not say that Armitage joined the sequel.

Updates for Zoe Perry, Raegan Revord, Annie Potts, and Lance Barber
A JustWatch cast update revised June 29, 2026, discusses what the original cast members have done after the series finale. It is secondary reporting and should be read as a dated snapshot, not a guarantee that no later project has been announced. The sources cited here do not establish a newer specific project for Perry, Revord, Potts, or Barber, so no current role is attributed to them.

The cast does not share one post-series path: Jordan and Osment have a continuing franchise role, while a listed interview appearance for Armitage and Parsons is a different kind of update. For the other performers, a dated cast roundup can point readers toward follow-up coverage, but a new project should be described as current only when a recent network, production, or performer announcement supports it. The updates here reflect information available as of October 4, 2026.
