Eat Your Heart Out, an 11-course Yellowjackets-inspired degustation created by Paramount+ Australia and Sydney’s NEL Restaurant, ran for four evenings in March 2025. The limited event has ended; it is not a current NEL menu or bookable experience.

What was the Yellowjackets dining experience?

Eat Your Heart Out was a promotional dining event developed by Paramount+ Australia and NEL Restaurant, led by chef Nelly Robinson, to mark the Australian launch of Yellowjackets season three. It was presented as an 11-course degustation drawing on the series’ wilderness-survival setting, including foraging and scavenging, and its cannibalism motif. The City of Sydney described it as a “Yellowjackets-inspired degustation”; the more provocative “cannibal-inspired feast” was campaign framing, not a literal description of the food.

Event coverage described an experience of about three hours. The available listings do not give a full course-by-course menu, so specific dishes and ingredients cannot be confirmed. Australian Good Food Guide coverage includes Robinson’s account of the creative challenge, including questions about making an ear or brain appetising.

When and where did it take place?

The event ran from Tuesday 4 March through Friday 7 March 2025 at NEL Restaurant, 75 Wentworth Avenue, Sydney. The City of Sydney event listing specified four evening sessions, each from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m., and described entry as a competition for a guest and companion. That listing is now marked closed.

Is the Yellowjackets menu still available?

No. The March 2025 promotion was a limited event and has ended. NEL’s current general format is different: its official website describes a 12-course degustation with a central concept that changes every 15 weeks and directs visitors to its reservations diary for current availability. That ongoing format does not mean the Yellowjackets menu is still served. Check NEL’s site for its current menu, pricing, dietary information and bookings.

What did the creators say about it?

Louise Crompton, VP Marketing & Growth at Paramount+ Australia, said the aim was to bring an iconic scene from Yellowjackets to life and immerse fans in an unexpected experience as part of the season-three launch. Robinson described the menu as a natural creative challenge for NEL, a restaurant known for pushing boundaries. These remarks explain the promotion’s concept; they are not a substitute for a published menu or a firsthand account of dining there.
