As of October 3, 2026, XSplit Broadcaster’s official pricing comparison lists its yearly plan at $59.99/year, its monthly plan at $14.99/month, and Free at $0. Those are USD prices, not confirmed India checkout totals. XSplit’s official pages also disagree on Lifetime pricing: one lists $119.99 once and the other $199.99. Check the live checkout for the amount, currency and any taxes before paying.

The figures below are the prices displayed on XSplit’s official pages when reviewed on October 3, 2026. They are listed in USD; the pages reviewed do not establish an India-specific INR price or final payable amount.

Which plan makes sense for a 24/7 channel?
Free: a way to try the workflow
The comparison page describes Free as personal use only, with output up to 720p without a watermark and four scenes. That makes it relevant for testing a basic personal setup, but not a fit if the channel needs commercial use under XSplit’s stated plan terms.

Premium: commercial use and simultaneous broadcasting
XSplit marks Premium as including commercial use, unlimited resolution and simultaneous broadcasting in its comparison. If the channel is monetized or used commercially, check the current plan terms rather than assuming the Free licence covers it. The comparison’s simultaneous-broadcasting feature may matter for creators who need more than one destination; it is separate from whether a single YouTube stream can remain live continuously.
Monthly, yearly or lifetime
The yearly option has the lowest recurring listed price, but it renews automatically by default, as does monthly. Review renewal and cancellation terms at checkout. Because the two official pages show different Lifetime amounts, do not budget on either number until the current purchase screen confirms the price and what the licence includes.

Can XSplit keep a YouTube channel live continuously?
XSplit documents sending a broadcast to YouTube Live, and YouTube’s encoder guidance discusses 24/7 streams as an encoder use case. This supports using an encoder workflow for continuous streaming; it is not a promise that XSplit, a particular computer or a home internet connection will stay online without interruption. A PC-based setup depends on the computer remaining powered and stable, the network maintaining its upload connection, and the stream recovering after interruptions.
YouTube Live must also be available on the channel. XSplit’s YouTube Live setup guide says first-time activation requires channel verification and no live-stream restriction in the preceding 90 days; approval can take up to 24 hours. Enable and verify Live well before a scheduled launch.

Set up XSplit Broadcaster for YouTube Live
- Enable YouTube Live first. Complete channel verification and check that the channel has no live-stream restriction in the preceding 90 days. Allow up to 24 hours for approval, as described in XSplit’s guide.
- Prepare the broadcast in Broadcaster. Add the video or other sources and arrange the scene you want viewers to see. For a prerecorded programme, make sure the media is available to the computer and test playback before starting a long session.
- Choose YouTube as the output. Follow XSplit’s YouTube Live output guide to connect the YouTube destination and select the stream or event you intend to use.
- Use the correct stream key and protect it. Select the intended YouTube stream key in the output setup. A stream key lets an encoder broadcast to your channel; do not publish it or share it with anyone who should not be able to stream there. If setting up a destination that requires a server URL and stream name instead, XSplit documents a Custom RTMP output.
- Check the preview and start the broadcast. Confirm that the intended video and audio are present, then start the output from Broadcaster. Check YouTube’s live view to confirm the stream is arriving and the correct event is live.
- Plan for the computer and connection to stay available. For a continuous PC-based stream, keep the machine powered, prevent sleep or shutdown, and use a stable wired connection where practical. Monitor the broadcast and test what happens after a brief network or application interruption before relying on the setup for a long unattended run.
Copyright and YouTube channel-policy checks
A 24/7 broadcast is still subject to YouTube’s copyright and channel rules. Use only footage, music, narration and other material that you own or are licensed to broadcast, and confirm that any licence permits both live streaming and the intended commercial use. A video that can be uploaded is not automatically cleared for continuous live use. Also make the stream useful and sufficiently distinct for viewers; using an encoder or looping material does not guarantee monetization or policy approval.
Costs beyond the XSplit licence
The subscription is not the full cost of a PC-based continuous stream. The computer must remain running, and the internet connection must sustain the stream’s upload traffic. Electricity, equipment wear and the reliability of the home connection can matter over a long period. XSplit’s product page includes system and bandwidth guidance, but the reviewed pricing information does not establish a specific Indian electricity or broadband cost, so calculate those from your own equipment and plan.
