WWE SummerSlam 2025 was a completed two-night event held at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, on August 2 and 3, 2025. Peacock carried it live in the United States at the time, while current replay availability depends on the platform and region. The event’s headline moments were Seth Rollins’ immediate Money in the Bank cash-in after CM Punk won the World Heavyweight Championship, and Cody Rhodes’ victory over John Cena followed by Brock Lesnar’s return.
WWE SummerSlam 2025 was a completed two-night event held at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, on Saturday, August 2, and Sunday, August 3, 2025. It was the first two-night SummerSlam in WWE history.
In the United States, the event streamed live on Peacock at the time, beginning at 6 p.m. ET/3 p.m. PT on both nights, with Spanish-language coverage available. That was the historical 2025 arrangement—not a guarantee of Peacock rights for future WWE events. For a replay now, check the current WWE or streaming-platform listing. Netflix has a WWE SummerSlam 2025 title page and trailer in supported markets, but availability varies by region.
Spoiler warning: The complete match card and results appear below. The two biggest outcomes were Seth Rollins cashing in immediately after CM Punk won the World Heavyweight Championship on Saturday, and Cody Rhodes regaining the Undisputed WWE Championship from John Cena on Sunday before Brock Lesnar returned.

How to watch WWE SummerSlam 2025 online
United States
At the time of the event, Peacock’s official viewing guide listed SummerSlam 2025 as streaming live exclusively on Peacock in the United States. Both nights were scheduled to start at 6 p.m. Eastern/3 p.m. Pacific, and Spanish-language availability was announced.
Because SummerSlam 2025 has concluded, Peacock should be described as the event’s historical U.S. live-streaming platform. Do not assume that the same service holds the live rights to later WWE premium live events. For current access, search the WWE event listing and check Peacock’s present catalog rather than relying on the original live-stream information.
Outside the United States
Netflix maintains a title page and trailer for WWE SummerSlam 2025 in supported markets. That provides a possible archive destination, but Netflix catalogs differ by country and can change. Check the title page from your location before subscribing or expecting a replay to be available.

WWE SummerSlam 2025 results: Saturday, August 2
Night 1 featured seven principal matches and ended with a dramatic two-step change of the World Heavyweight Championship.
- Roman Reigns and Jey Uso defeated Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed. The opening match ended when Jey Uso scored the decisive fall after a sequence involving Reigns, Breakker and Reed.
- Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss defeated Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez to win the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship.
- Sami Zayn defeated Karrion Kross. Zayn refused to use a pipe offered during the grudge match, then won with an Exploder Suplex followed by a Helluva Kick.
- Tiffany Stratton defeated Jade Cargill to retain the WWE Women’s Championship. Stratton avoided a super Jaded and followed with the Prettiest Moonsault Ever.
- Drew McIntyre and Logan Paul defeated Jelly Roll and Randy Orton. WWE identified the bout as Jelly Roll’s first WWE match.
- CM Punk defeated Gunther to win the World Heavyweight Championship. Punk survived Gunther’s chops, powerbombs and Sleeper Hold before finishing him with two GTS attempts.
- Seth Rollins defeated CM Punk to become World Heavyweight Champion. Rollins cashed in his Money in the Bank contract immediately after Punk’s victory. He had appeared to be injured, but discarded his crutches and knee brace, attacked Punk with the briefcase and hit a Stomp.
WWE SummerSlam 2025 results: Sunday, August 3
Night 2 included the Cody Rhodes–John Cena Street Fight and another major post-match development: Brock Lesnar’s return.
- Naomi defeated Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY in a Triple Threat Match to retain the Women’s World Championship. Naomi won by rolling up Ripley while pulling the tights.
- The Wyatt Sicks won the Six-Pack TLC Match to retain the WWE Tag Team Championship. Dexter Lumis and Joe Gacy retrieved the titles after the multi-team ladder sequence.
- Becky Lynch defeated Lyra Valkyria in a No Disqualification, No Count-Out, Last Chance Match to retain the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship. Under the stipulation, Valkyria could not challenge Lynch for the title again while Lynch remained champion.

- Dominik Mysterio defeated AJ Styles to retain the Intercontinental Championship. Mysterio used a distraction and a boot before winning with a Frog Splash.
- Cody Rhodes defeated John Cena in a Street Fight to regain the Undisputed WWE Championship. Rhodes survived multiple Attitude Adjustments and won after an Avalanche Cutter and a final Cross Rhodes.

The biggest SummerSlam 2025 moments
Rollins turned Punk’s championship win into a second title change
The Saturday main-event story was not simply “CM Punk beat Gunther.” Punk did win the World Heavyweight Championship, but his reign lasted only until Seth Rollins cashed in his Money in the Bank contract. It was effectively a two-stage title transition: Gunther lost to Punk, and Punk immediately lost to Rollins.

Rollins’ apparent injury made the cash-in more surprising. He had presented himself as unable to compete, then revealed that the crutches and knee brace were part of the setup before striking Punk with the briefcase.

The night did not end with Rhodes’ title celebration. Brock Lesnar returned after the main event and hit Cena with an F-5, creating the final major angle of SummerSlam 2025.
SummerSlam 2025 merchandise
Official WWE Shop merchandise
The official WWE Shop’s SummerSlam catalog included SummerSlam 2025 event apparel and commemorative plaques. Since the event has ended, inventory may be limited, discontinued or mixed with merchandise from other SummerSlam years.
Before buying, verify all of the following on the individual product page:
- That the item specifically says 2025 rather than referring to a different SummerSlam;
- the available size, color and design;
- the current price and stock status;
- the seller, shipping terms and estimated delivery date; and
- whether a plaque or other collectible is an official commemorative product.
Do not assume that every item shown in a current SummerSlam category is from the 2025 event. Store catalogs often combine current and historical designs.

WWE said the collection would be available through WWE Shop, Fanatics and select WWE Premium Live Events.

If you want a broader WWE collectible rather than an event-specific shirt or plaque, you can search Amazon for WWE championship replica belts. Treat this as a general collectible search, not as a claim that a marketplace listing is official SummerSlam 2025 merchandise.
