WWE SmackDown on Friday, May 23, 2025, is now complete. The episode aired from Enmarket Arena in Savannah, Georgia, featured two Money in the Bank qualifying matches, and ended with the returning Wyatt Sicks attacking a chaotic tag-team title scene.
Giulia and LA Knight qualified for their respective Money in the Bank ladder matches. The Street Profits versus Fraxiom WWE Tag Team Championship match ended in a no-contest after interference from multiple teams and the Wyatt Sicks.

Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford defended the WWE Tag Team Championship against Nathan Frazer and Axiom. Fraxiom had momentum after defeating the champions in a non-title match, while the Street Profits were coming off a physically demanding ladder match. WWE presented Fraxiom as an undefeated, rapidly rising team on SmackDown.

Giulia vs. Charlotte Flair vs. Zelina Vega — Women’s Money in the Bank qualifier
The winner earned a place in the Women’s Money in the Bank ladder match. In a Triple Threat, the first wrestler to score a pinfall or submission wins; a competitor can therefore wait for another wrestler to create an opening before making the decisive fall.
LA Knight vs. Aleister Black vs. Shinsuke Nakamura — Men’s Money in the Bank qualifier
This Triple Threat determined another entrant in the Men’s Money in the Bank ladder match. The format allowed a wrestler to win without directly pinning every opponent.

The following predictions were made before the broadcast and are not results.
Street Profits vs. Fraxiom
Prediction: The Street Profits retain. Fraxiom’s momentum made a decisive champion-versus-challenger finish less likely. A disputed ending or outside interference could have protected Fraxiom while keeping the titles with the Street Profits. That prediction proved directionally correct, although the match did not produce a normal title retention.
Giulia vs. Charlotte Flair vs. Zelina Vega
Prediction: Giulia wins. A Money in the Bank qualification would establish Giulia quickly without requiring her to defeat Charlotte Flair one-on-one. Zelina’s status as Women’s United States Champion also gave the match added credibility.
LA Knight vs. Aleister Black vs. Shinsuke Nakamura
Prediction: LA Knight wins. Knight was the clearest crowd-oriented choice for a ladder-match field. Black and Nakamura could remain protected if neither took the deciding pinfall.

The Wyatt Sicks return explained
The episode’s biggest development came during the tag-team title match. After #DIY interfered, the Motor City Machine Guns became involved, turning the contest into a larger fight around the championship picture. The lights then went out, and the returning Wyatt Sicks attacked the teams.

The result was a no-contest rather than a title change. The segment clearly positioned the Wyatt Sicks against the wider SmackDown tag-team scene, but it did not confirm a specific future title match or championship challenge. The Street Profits therefore remained champions, while Fraxiom, #DIY, and the Motor City Machine Guns were drawn into a much broader angle.
