WWE NXT Roadblock 2025 took place on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at The Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York City. The special live episode of NXT aired in the United States on The CW at 8 p.m. ET, and its biggest result was Stephanie Vaquer defeating Giulia to win the NXT Women’s Championship while retaining the NXT Women’s North American Championship.
The five-match card also featured the Hardy Boyz, TNA’s Moose and Jordynne Grace, making Roadblock an important showcase for WWE’s working relationship with TNA. Vaquer won Giulia’s NXT Women’s Championship and kept her own North American title. WWE identified Vaquer as the first woman to hold two NXT championship titles simultaneously. The result gave Roadblock a clear historical headline instead of ending with a non-finish designed to protect both champions.
The Hardy Boyz retained the TNA Tag Team Championship
Jeff and Matt Hardy successfully defended the TNA Tag Team Championship against Fraxiom, the team of Nathan Frazer and Axiom. This was not a defense of the NXT Tag Team Championship: Fraxiom held the NXT titles, while The Hardy Boyz were the TNA champions.
The finish came when Fraxiom’s High Low attempt broke down after Axiom accidentally struck Frazer. Jeff Hardy took advantage and connected with a Swanton Bomb, allowing The Hardy Boyz to retain.
Jordynne Grace won her NXT showcase
Jordynne Grace defeated former two-time NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez. Perez focused on Grace’s limbs during the match, but Grace survived the strategy and finished the contest with the Juggernaut Driver.
The victory was significant as a major WWE/NXT showcase for Grace, who was competing amid the broader WWE–TNA crossover rather than in a title match.
Oba Femi retained against Moose
NXT Champion Oba Femi defeated Moose, who entered as TNA X-Division Champion. The match presented the possibility of Moose becoming a champion in two companies, but Femi remained NXT Champion.
Moose delivered a chokeslam to Femi through the announce table. Femi eventually countered Moose’s Spear into Fall From Grace to secure the win and retain the title.
Je’Von Evans defeated Ethan Page in the Street Fight
Je’Von Evans beat Ethan Page in the New York City Street Fight. The stipulation made weapons and ringside destruction central to the match, rather than treating it like a standard singles contest.

1. Would the women’s title match produce one champion?
Vaquer versus Giulia was the hardest match to assess from a story perspective because WWE could have taken several routes. The WWE–TNA partnership made Moose versus Oba Femi more than a routine champion-versus-champion attraction. Moose was already TNA X-Division Champion, so a win would have made him a champion in both companies. The alternative was Femi establishing the NXT Championship as the line he could not cross.
Femi retained, while the crossover still gave Moose a high-profile match on a major NXT broadcast.
3. Would the veterans or the younger team prevail?
The Hardy Boyz versus Fraxiom combined generational contrast with an unusual championship distinction. The Hardys brought their veteran identity as TNA Tag Team Champions; Fraxiom represented NXT’s current tag-team scene. The match therefore had stakes for both the visiting champions and the home promotion’s team.
The Hardy Boyz kept the TNA titles, but the finish also used an accidental breakdown between Frazer and Axiom to explain why the younger team fell short.

Why NXT Roadblock 2025 mattered
Vaquer gave the show its defining historical angle
Roadblock had enough name recognition through The Hardy Boyz, Moose, Giulia and Grace to function as a crossover-heavy episode. Vaquer’s victory made it more than a collection of inter-promotional matches. The double-champion result became the show’s clearest lasting talking point.
