John Cena retained the Undisputed WWE Championship against CM Punk
Result: John Cena defeated CM Punk and retained the Undisputed WWE Championship.
The main event added another chapter to the long-running Cena-Punk rivalry. WWE’s preview framed the match around Cena’s title reign and his stated intention to “ruin wrestling,” opposed by Punk’s claim that he was trying to save WWE.
The official WWE prediction selected Cena to win, making this one of the three correct choices in the company’s six-match prediction article. The finish became chaotic when Seth Rollins’ interference and activity involving Rollins’ group and multiple officials helped shape the closing sequence. Cena ultimately left Riyadh with the championship.
Jade Cargill won the Queen of the Ring Final
Result: Jade Cargill defeated Asuka to become the 2025 Queen of the Ring.

WWE’s pre-event prediction favored Cargill, and that pick proved correct.
Asuka applied the Asuka Lock, but Cargill escaped the submission and finished the match with Jaded. The victory established Cargill as the 2025 Queen of the Ring and secured her future title opportunity.
Cody Rhodes defeated Randy Orton in the King of the Ring Final
Result: Cody Rhodes defeated Randy Orton to become the 2025 King of the Ring.
The final drew on the history between Orton and Rhodes, who were presented as former mentor and protégé. WWE’s prediction article chose Rhodes, another correct selection.

Rhodes used an exposed turnbuckle during the match before hitting Cross Rhodes to secure the win. He became the 2025 King of the Ring after overcoming Orton in a final built around their personal and professional history.
Solo Sikoa won the United States Championship from Jacob Fatu
Result: Solo Sikoa defeated Jacob Fatu to win the United States Championship.
WWE’s preview treated the match as another stage in the family conflict between Fatu and Sikoa and predicted that the champion, Jacob Fatu, would retain. That prediction was wrong.
Interference from Tonga Loa and a surprise attacking Superstar disrupted the match. Sikoa took advantage of the disorder and hit the Spike to defeat Fatu and capture the United States Championship.

Rhea Ripley won the Street Fight against Raquel Rodriguez
Result: Rhea Ripley defeated Raquel Rodriguez.
The Street Fight was expected to be one of the event’s most physical matches. WWE’s prediction favored Rodriguez and specifically acknowledged that outside interference could affect the outcome. Instead, the interference worked in Rodriguez’s favor without producing the predicted winner.
Roxanne Perez interfered on Rodriguez’s behalf, but Ripley survived the disruption. Ripley finished the match by hitting Riptide on a table.
Sami Zayn defeated Karrion Kross
Result: Sami Zayn defeated Karrion Kross with a Helluva Kick.
The match followed a prolonged storyline in which Kross attempted to manipulate Zayn. WWE’s prediction article selected Kross to win, but Zayn reversed that expectation.
Zayn ended the contest with a Helluva Kick, giving him the sixth and final result on the Night of Champions card—and the third incorrect prediction in WWE’s six-match forecast.
WWE’s predictions versus the confirmed results
WWE’s prediction article, published on June 26, two days before the event, correctly picked three of six winners: John Cena, Jade Cargill, and Cody Rhodes.
- Correct: John Cena over CM Punk.
- Correct: Jade Cargill over Asuka.
- Correct: Cody Rhodes over Randy Orton.
- Incorrect: Jacob Fatu was predicted, but Solo Sikoa won the United States Championship.
- Incorrect: Raquel Rodriguez was predicted, but Rhea Ripley won the Street Fight.
- Incorrect: Karrion Kross was predicted, but Sami Zayn won.
The final prediction record was therefore 3–3. It is worth stating the count explicitly because the three-event-winner total can be misreported if the Sami Zayn–Karrion Kross result is overlooked.

What the event meant for the major storylines
Night of Champions 2025 produced several straightforward storyline outcomes. Cena’s successful defense kept the Undisputed WWE Championship with him after another major confrontation with Punk. Cargill and Rhodes gained the ceremonial King and Queen of the Ring victories, along with the associated future championship opportunities. Sikoa’s win changed the United States Championship picture and intensified the conflict with Fatu.
The event also gave Ripley and Zayn decisive victories over rivals who had been favored in WWE’s own preview. Those results made the show less predictable than the published forecast, even though three of the six picks were correct.

Collectors looking for official WWE Night of Champions merchandise should verify the event year, stock status, seller, and regional shipping before purchasing. WWE maintains Night of Champions merchandise pages, but the surfaced official inventory was associated with the 2026 event rather than a verified, currently available 2025 product.
