The clearest confirmed update is that AEW president Tony Khan has expressed interest in a possible AEW Hall of Fame and in adding to the ROH Hall of Fame, but announced neither a launch nor an induction. The available information does not verify a new WWE or AEW championship, a Jim Cornette induction plan, or the specific story behind Ricky Starks’ name reference.
What is confirmed about an AEW or ROH Hall of Fame?
On July 22, 2026, F4WOnline reported that Tony Khan discussed both a possible AEW Hall of Fame and whether the ROH Hall of Fame might resume. Khan said he had not added to the ROH Hall of Fame, but considered the idea worth considering. On an AEW Hall of Fame, he said, “I think it’s a good thought,” and “I’d be interested in doing it.” He gave no timeline. These comments express interest; they are not an announcement of a program, ceremony, or induction class. F4WOnline’s report
The ROH Hall of Fame’s only class, inducted in 2022, included The Briscoes (Jay and Mark), Bryan Danielson, Samoa Joe, CM Punk, and Legacy Award recipient Cary Silkin, according to the same report. F4WOnline on the 2022 class
Did Khan announce Athena as an inductee?
No. When the Battleground Podcast asked about Athena as a possible ROH Hall of Fame inductee, Khan replied, “I absolutely think she would have an excellent case to be in that. Yes.” That is his view of her candidacy, not an induction announcement. Fightful’s report

Is Jim Cornette going into the WWE Hall of Fame?
The available information does not establish that. A Jim Cornette Experience episode listing says Cornette reviewed the 2026 WWE Hall of Fame inductions, alongside other wrestling topics. It does not say he discussed his own possible induction, nor does it confirm that WWE is considering or has approached him. A podcast review of the inductions is not evidence of a nomination or offer. Jim Cornette Experience episode listing
Why is Ricky Starks being called Ricky Saints?
A search result for an Online World of Wrestling profile is headed “Ricky Saints,” while its URL and profile context identify Ricky Starks. That establishes an association between the two ring-name forms, but the page was not accessible and the available information does not clarify when or why the name is used. It is not enough to confirm a new name change or explain its circumstances. Online World of Wrestling profile result

Did WWE or AEW announce new titles?
No matching, reliable announcement is established in the available information. “New titles” could mean a newly created championship, a title match, or a championship change; there is no basis here to choose among those meanings or to describe a new belt. Treat that part of the rumor as unverified unless a specific announcement or credible report identifies what happened.
