There is not enough reliable evidence to name 15 wrestlers who are known to pass gas in the ring. The available accounts support a handful of attributed stories, a scripted comedy angle, and several claims that do not meet that standard. Here is what each example does—and does not—establish.
What the accounts establish
These stories are not all the same kind of evidence. Some come from a wrestler recalling a past incident; one is a remembered comment about a teammate; another is a scripted WWE comedy storyline. A pre-entrance anecdote, a rumor, or an incontinence story cannot be counted as a confirmed in-ring flatulence incident.
| Wrestler or performers | What was reported | Evidence and setting |
|---|---|---|
| Bret Hart and Bam Bam Bigelow | Bigelow recalled that Hart farted in his face during their 1993 King of the Ring match. | Bigelow’s later recollection, reproduced by Pro Wrestling Stories; not independently verified. Pro Wrestling Stories |
| Andre the Giant | Stories attributed to Jake Roberts describe Andre passing gas during a match. | Reported recollections attributed to Roberts, rather than a contemporaneous match record. Pro Wrestling Stories |
| Paul Wight (Big Show) | Cody Rhodes recalled that Wight sometimes passed gas in the ring. | Rhodes’s recollection, as reported by Pro Wrestling Stories. Pro Wrestling Stories |
| Sarah Logan | Liv Morgan said her former Riott Squad teammate farted in the ring during matches. | Morgan’s recollection in an interview reported by 411Mania. 411Mania |
| Natalya | She performed a gas-themed comedy angle on WWE television. | Scripted character material, not evidence of an actual bodily event. GameSpot; Pro Wrestling Stories |
The reported in-ring anecdotes
Bret Hart and Bam Bam Bigelow
Recalling his 1993 King of the Ring match with Bret Hart, Bam Bam Bigelow said, “I think when he did that, he farted right in my face, too!” Pro Wrestling Stories reproduces Bigelow’s account. It is a vivid anecdote from one participant, not independent confirmation of what happened in the match. Read the account at Pro Wrestling Stories.
Andre the Giant, as recalled by Jake Roberts
Pro Wrestling Stories also recounts stories attributed to Jake Roberts about Andre the Giant passing gas during a match. They are retrospective recollections, not a contemporaneous record. Read the reporting at Pro Wrestling Stories.

Paul Wight, recalled by Cody Rhodes
Cody Rhodes recalled that Paul Wight, known to wrestling audiences as Big Show, sometimes passed gas in the ring. That supports reporting an attributed anecdote, not treating every alleged instance as documented fact. The same reporting includes a separate story about Wight defecating in the ring in Cape Town; that is an incontinence account, not a flatulence example. Read the Pro Wrestling Stories report.
Sarah Logan, recalled by Liv Morgan
In an interview reported by 411Mania, Liv Morgan said of her former Riott Squad teammate: “I’ve not farted in the ring, but I’ve been farted on in the ring.” Morgan’s remark identifies Sarah Logan as the wrestler she was discussing, but remains a teammate’s recollection. Read the 411Mania report.

A WWE comedy storyline is not proof of a real incident
Natalya’s scripted gas gimmick
WWE gave Natalya a gas-themed comedy storyline in 2012. In a 2014 interview, she described making the bit work, saying, “I’m going to pass gas, maybe I had too many protein bars that morning.” The remark belongs to a scripted television premise; it does not establish that she actually passed gas during a match. GameSpot’s retrospective and Pro Wrestling Stories’ reporting cover the storyline and interview.
Stories that should not be counted as in-ring incidents
Montez Ford’s pre-entrance comment
Montez Ford reportedly said he passed gas before going out for his entrance because he was nervous. The account places it before the entrance, not during a match or in the ring, so it does not substantiate the title’s specific claim. Read the report.

Trick Williams: explicitly described as rumor
Cody Rhodes also mentioned a claim about Trick Williams, but qualified it plainly: “I only heard this, this is just a rumor.” That is not established evidence, and the claim should not be repeated as fact. Read Rhodes’s remark in context.
Incontinence, sharting, and urban legends
Some wrestling roundups mix flatulence with defecation, sharting, or alleged accidents. Those are different claims and cannot fill out a list of wrestlers known to pass gas. Pro Wrestling Stories itself labels the Sycho Sid story an urban legend or speculation, and notes uncertainty about whether the alleged event happened at a house show. Read the reporting and its qualification.

Why there are not 15 substantiated names
The accounts above do not establish a verified count of 15 wrestlers. The strongest usable examples are still mainly attributed recollections; Natalya’s association is with a scripted bit, while Ford’s reported comment was before an entrance and the Trick Williams claim was explicitly called rumor. Adding names from unrelated accidents or repeating speculation would make the list less accurate, not more complete.
