WrestleMania 40—officially WrestleMania XL—took place over two nights: Saturday, April 6, and Sunday, April 7, 2024, at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia. The main show began at 7 p.m. ET (4 p.m. PT) each night; WWE’s countdown coverage began at 5 p.m. ET (2 p.m. PT). In the United States, the event streamed on Peacock. This is a historical schedule, not an upcoming event.

WWE’s official WrestleMania Week schedule listed the April 6 and 7 main broadcasts at 7 p.m. ET / 4 p.m. PT. The event announcement named Lincoln Financial Field as the venue for both nights (Wells Fargo Center announcement).

How to watch WrestleMania XL
United States
WrestleMania XL streamed live on Peacock in the U.S.; it was not a regular free broadcast on a traditional television network. WWE’s April 2024 schedule described Peacock Premium as the U.S. home for WWE Network content and premium live events. That listing cited Peacock Premium at $5.99 at the time, a historical price rather than a current rate. The event’s streaming arrangement also does not establish whether a replay remains available today.

For the original live broadcast, viewers needed a Peacock account and an applicable paid plan, then could find the event in Peacock’s WWE or Premium Live Events area. The official Peacock site is the place to check current plans and availability; current access to this archived event should not be assumed from the 2024 schedule.

Outside the United States
WWE listed WWE Network for viewers outside the U.S. at the time, but local rights and availability varied. The 2024 listing is not a guarantee that WWE Network is the service for a viewer’s country today; check the local WWE broadcast or streaming partner. Countdown show versus main card
The countdown began at 5 p.m. ET on both days, two hours before the advertised 7 p.m. ET main show. Countdown programming could include analysis, interviews, recaps and potentially matches; its exact contents and length could change. Viewers wanting only the advertised main card could tune in at 7 p.m. ET, while those wanting the full broadcast could start at 5 p.m. ET.
Night 1 matches: Saturday, April 6
The announced Night 1 card included seven matches. The list below identifies the bouts and titles or stipulations; it is not a claim about the broadcast order.
- The Rock and Roman Reigns vs. Cody Rhodes and Seth “Freakin” Rollins: tag-team match with consequences for the following night’s Undisputed WWE Universal Championship match.
- Rhea Ripley vs. Becky Lynch: Women’s World Championship.
- Gunther vs. Sami Zayn: Intercontinental Championship.
- Jey Uso vs. Jimmy Uso.
- Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship six-pack ladder match: Damian Priest and Finn Bálor; R-Truth and The Miz; Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano; Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods; Austin Theory and Grayson Waller; and Pete Dunne and Tyler Bate.
- Bianca Belair, Naomi and Jade Cargill vs. Damage CTRL: Dakota Kai, Kairi Sane and Asuka represented Damage CTRL.
- Rey Mysterio and Dragon Lee vs. Santos Escobar and Dominik Mysterio.
Night 2 matches: Sunday, April 7
The announced Night 2 card included six matches. As with Night 1, the order below is not a guaranteed running order.
- Roman Reigns vs. Cody Rhodes: Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.
- Seth “Freakin” Rollins vs. Drew McIntyre: World Heavyweight Championship.
- Bayley vs. IYO SKY: WWE Women’s Championship.
- Logan Paul vs. Randy Orton vs. Kevin Owens: United States Championship Triple Threat.
- LA Knight vs. AJ Styles.
- Bobby Lashley and The Street Profits vs. The Final Testament: Philadelphia Street Fight. The Final Testament team was Karrion Kross, Akam and Rezar.
The contemporary CBS Philadelphia card and schedule listed the matches for both nights. WWE’s event pages also identified the World Heavyweight Championship match and the United States Championship Triple Threat.
How Night 1 connected to Night 2
The Rock and Roman Reigns faced Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins in a tag-team match on Night 1. Its stakes shaped the rules and storyline context for Reigns vs. Rhodes in the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship match on Night 2. These were separate matches, not two listings for the same bout.
